With the fourth quarter underway in a game that will decide Green Bay’s postseason fate, rookie linebacker Quay Walker just took himself out of tonight’s equation.

That’s because, with members of the Detroit staff on the field helping out an injured Lion, Walker elected to shove one of their staff members. That earned him a flag and, eventually, an ejection from tonight’s contest.

Green Bay selected Walker with the 22nd pick in the 2022 NFL Draft out of Georgia.

This isn’t Walker’s first incident shoving a staff member while in the NFL either. Earlier this season, he shoved a member of the Buffalo Bills staff on their sideline and was subsequently ejected for that as well. Shoving players and getting into altercations with opponents is one thing, but having gotten into it with two separate members of two different staffs over his first 17 career games is anything but okay.

With this ejection, Walker will finish his first regular season with 121 tackles, seven pass deflections, three forced fumbles, 1.5 sacks, and a fumble recovery. Still, even with that kind of production, behavior like this isn’t a good look for a young player trying to make a name for himself in the league.

WATCH: Rasul Douglas interferes with Lions snap after timeout, gets flagged for hitting facemask

Packers cornerback Rasul Douglas made a strange decision before a Lions field goal to end the half, interfering with their snap. With time running out in the first half, the Lions were setting up to attempt a field goal when Douglas saw his sideline calling a timeout to “ice” the kicker before his attempt.

Instead of waiting for the officials to blow the play dead like normal, Douglas walked down the line of scrimmage and attempted to take the ball away from the center — possibly denying them a chance to kick a “practice” kick after the timeout. A Detroit lineman retaliated by shoving Douglas in the weird moment, and after the two shared words Douglas struck him in his facemask and earned a 15-yard penalty for unnecessary roughness.
