LOOK: 49ers star Nick Bosa trolls Dallas Cowboys fans following playoff win

After eliminating the Dallas Cowboys for the second straight year in the playoffs, Nick Bosa took a shot at “America’s Team” on social media. The 49ers All-Pro defensive end shared photos of the team celebrating on his Instagram account after the win, captioned simply with “America’s Team strikes again” as his final word on the game.

The 49ers sent home the Cowboys with another one-score win in the playoffs, and several players in the San Francisco locker room were feeling good about their effort afterwards. Bosa was a force throughout the night on the defensive line, although he may not have finished with a stuffed stat sheet himself. With two tackles, including one for a loss, Bosa was part of a larger team effort that held Dallas to 282 yards and 5-of-15 converted third downs.

San Francisco’s pass rush was able to get pressure on Dak Prescott as well, forcing two first-half interceptions from the Dallas quarterback that led to a first-half lead for the 49ers. San Francisco eliminated Dallas with their 19-12 win, and earned their spot in the NFC Championship Game.

Next up for Bosa and the 49ers is a trip to Philadelphia to play another NFC East squad — this time to earn a trip to Super Bowl LVII.

Bosa built upon his 2021-22 Pro Bowl season with 15.5 sacks by somehow getting to quarterbacks even more frequently this year. In one less regular season game this year, Bosa sacked opposing quarterbacks an incredible 18.5 times while recording 48 quarterback hits compared to 32 last year.

While the 49ers continue on in the playoffs another year, it comes at the expense of the Cowboys as Bosa highlighted in his message. Dallas now begins an offseason with plenty of decisions to make, including potential coaching opportunities for defensive coordinator Dan Quinn and free agency problems like running back Tony Pollard.
