Kingsley Enagbare delivers scouting report, can be 'Swiss Army Knife' for Packers
Former South Carolina defensive end Kingsley Enagbare is extremely confident in his abilities to help the Green Bay Packers after they selected him in the fifth round of the 2022 NFL Draft. With experience playing multiple positions in college, Enagbare feels as though his skills are exactly what Green Bay needs to take their defense to the next level.
“My versatility, I feel like I’m pretty violent,” Enagbare said. “I feel like I’m versatile. Throughout college I pretty much played any position along the defensive line. I feel like that just prepared me to do that at the next level. I pretty much feel like a Swiss Army knife. I feel like I can do anything that is asked of me.”
Enagbare, a former On3 Consensus four-star recruit put together a successful four-year collegiate career for the Gamecocks where he totaled 121 tackles, including a strong senior season in 2021 where he made 44 tackles alongside 4.5 sacks and a forced fumble.
His biggest games last season came against SEC East foes. He tallied seven tackles in a win over Vanderbilt on Oct. 16 and put up six tackles in a loss to Kentucky on Sept. 25. Enagbare heads to the Packers after appearing in 44 games with South Carolina while logging 21 starts, including 24 career tackles for loss, 15 sacks and 19 quarterback hurries.
With a known reputation of getting after the quarterback in college, Enagbare is looking forward to sacking some of the NFL’s best gunslingers and wants to start his career by sacking the GOAT, he revealed in his introductory press conference.

“Probably Tom Brady,” Enagbare said about which quarterback he looks forward to sacking the most. “Yeah, honestly, I was pretty bummed that he retired, and I was able to get my excitement back when I seen him come back two weeks later. So hopefully, I’ll get the chance to do that.”
One quarterback Enagbare will not be facing off against any time soon is his teammate, reigning two-time NFL MVP Aaron Rodgers. But given the opportunity, would he sack Rodgers in practice?
“I don’t know. I think that definitely might give me some trouble; a lot of trouble.”
Enagbare heads to Green Bay with a laundry list of accomplishments at South Carolina, including first-team All-SEC honors and third-team All-American honors by Pro Football Focus, and looks to continue that success getting after quarterbacks in the pros.
