Former Tennessee Titans legend, running back Eddie George, and current Titans offensive lineman Taylor Lewan had themselves a little bet earlier in the year. George and Lewan made a jersey bet on the annual Big Ten rivalry matchup between Michigan and Ohio State.

With the Buckeyes falling to the Wolverines to end the year, the former Titans running back had to pay up. And that’s just what he did in the video below.

George played for Ohio State from 1992-1995. In his last season with the Buckeyes, George racked up the accolades winning the Doak Walker Award, Maxwell Award, Walter Camp award, and the crowned jewel of college football, the Heisman Trophy. He was also named the Big Ten’s Offensive Player of the Year, Most Valuable Player, and a unanimous All-American before being selected in the first round of the 1996 NFL Draft by the then Houston Oilers. But all those awards and accolades could not help him in paying his bet to his Titan brethren.

Lewan suited up for the maze and blue from 2009- 2013. Although his trophy case is less filled than George’s, he still hauled in an impressive amount of awards in his own right. Lewan made first-team All-Big Ten three times, was a first-team All-American two times, and was named the Big Ten’s offensive Lineman of the Year twice. Unfortunately, for the three-time Pro Bowler, the latter part of his career has been filled with injury issues. Lewan is on the Titans’ injured reserve after suffering a knee injury in week two of the season. That season-ending injury follows him missing most of last year with an ACL injury.

Cowboys vs Titans Monday injury report

The Cowboys have released their Monday injury report estimate, listing new injury designations before taking on the Titans on Thursday night. Both teams are coming off a Christmas Eve divisional matchup with short rest before playing each other this week. As a result of the short week, both teams did not hold a full practice — meaning their Monday injury reports are only an estimate.
