Top-150 recruit Justin McBride cuts list to 3, sets commitment date

Dallas (Texas) Plano three-star recruit Justin McBride tells On3 he will announce his college decision on Wednesday, September 21st. The 6-foot-7, 210-pound power forward is choosing between three schools: Arizona State, Missouri, and Oklahoma State.
Kansas State, Santa Clara, and VCU were previously considered. He also received offers from Kansas, Arkansas, Texas Tech, and others.
McBride is the No. 133 overall prospect in the 2023 class, according to the On3 Consensus, the average ranking from all four major recruiting media companies. He’s also the No. 28 power forward and the No. 13 player in the state of Texas.
During EYBL Peach Jam, McBride averaged 16.8 points, 6.3 assists, 2.0 rebounds, 1.4 steals, and 1.3 blockers per game for Drive Nation (Texas).

McBride breaks down his options
In a previous interview with On3, Justin McBride discussed each of his finalists.
Arizona State: “I love how they use their wings. They play a lot around the perimeter and push the pace.”
Missouri: “Hometown and I have lots of family to support me out there. Great new coaching staff.”
Oklahoma State: “They have two great players coming in (Brandon Garrison, Jamyron Keller) and I think I can do great things with them.”
