Any time a 7-footer enters the transfer portal, college program’s interest will be piqued. On March 22, Nevada junior Warren Washington entered the transfer portal, and the coaches started calling almost immediately.

Washington averaged 10.5 points on 60.8-percent shooting last season. He also led the team in rebounding (6.6) and blocked shots (1.2) while starting 20 of 22 games played and knocking down 73.2-percent of his free throws.

On3 caught up with the 7-foot center from Escondido, California, to see which schools have been talking with him over these last few days.

I hear from NC State, Pittsburgh, LSU, Florida, BYU, Notre Dame, Missouri, Illinois, Butler, Washington, Arkansas, Arizona State, Marquette, and some more,” Washingon told On3.
