Tyler Lockett: 'It's amazing what we can accomplish when no one cares who gets the credit'
The 2022 NFL season has not been a good one for Russell Wilson. While the Denver Broncos got a win today, they’ve overall underachieved on the field to this point. Wilson has also caught some flack off the field from the media as well as former teammates. After Seattle’s 27-13 win over the New York Giants this evening, WR Tyler Lockett may have been the latest to take a shot at the former Seahawk.
After the game, Lockett said that, “it’s amazing what we can accomplish when no one cares who gets the credit.’ Senior NFL reporter Charles Robinson then said what many were thinking with a response to the tweet that further suggests it’s a subtle dig at Wilson.

Lockett played his first seven seasons with Wilson as his quarterback. With Geno Smith putting up similar production and having Seattle currently in first place in the NFC West, though, it makes Wilson’s dramatic exit from the franchise look pretty rough.
No official names were said but this does feel like a hint at Wilson based on how some of his other former Seattle teammates have spoken about him as of late. He’s in the past, though, as Lockett and the Seahawks are riding high on their three-game win streak.

After recently dealing for Panthers’ superstar running back Christian McCaffrey in one of the biggest blockbuster trades of the season, San Francisco 49ers head coach Kyle Shanahan is wasting no time in utilizing his shiny new toy. McCaffrey achieved the touchdown triple crown on Sunday against the LA Rams–a passing touchdown, a receiving touchdown, and a rushing touchdown.
Check it out as he takes the handoff from Jimmy Garoppolo and punches it in from the one-yard line.
