Under Armour Future 50: Day 2 Top Performers

Cody Bby:Cody Bellaire06/29/24

BRADENTON, Fla. – Some of the top players in the class of 2026 are performing at IMG Academy this weekend in the Under Armour Future 50 event. After 5-on-5 action on Friday night, the festivities continued on Saturday morning with the camp and skills challenge.

On3 was on site for day two of the event as a myriad of elite incoming juniors continued to perform as a high level.

On3 MVP: QB Brady Hart — Michigan commit (2026)

“Day two of Future 50 was primarily focused on drills and individual workouts. Each of the quarterbacks threw around 50 balls a piece on Saturday morning and the best of the bunch was Brady Hart. He was so strong from start to finish. His consistency in his mechanics is phenomenal. He ties his lower half to his upper body. His footwork is clean and precise. He keeps everything in line and under control even when he is on the move. Every ball he throws looks the exact same coming out of his hand. The ball has zip coming out, a consistent tight spiral and consistently on the money from an accuracy standpoint. His ceiling is through the roof and his floor is about as safe as any prospect in the country. My biggest takeaway from this event? Brady Hart is that dude.”

2. CB RJ Sermons (2026)

“One of the other best workouts on the day was in the defensive back group. It genuinely might be one of the cleanest individual defensive back sessions I’ve ever seen and it came from RJ Sermons. Almost every rep he took was teach tape. From his pacing in his backpedal to his burst and ability to stick his foot in the ground and change direction, Sermons was a technician. He’s such a fluid and smooth mover. When weaving in and out of his pedal he keeps everything under control and has little to no wasted movement. And at 6 feet, 180+ pounds, he has the size and length that every coach at the next level covets at the corner position.”

3. QB Jaden O’Neal — Oklahoma commit (2026)

“Brady Hart wasn’t the only quarterback that shined out on the field during Saturday morning’s workout. Jaden O’Neal was out there throwing darts today. It felt like every station he moved to throughout the day he got better and better. He is able to generate so much velocity on the football and makes it look so effortless. He utilizes that dense build of his to get so much zip onto the football and he can air it out with ease. O’Neal showed excellent mobility and clean mechanics on the move as well. Even when he had to throw off-platform and rely mostly on his arm, he was able to show off the natural arm talent and ability to throw an accurate football. O’Neal has one of the bigger arms early on in the 2026 cycle and put together a stellar showing on Saturday.”

4. WR Vance Spafford (2026)

“I would argue that no receiver has had a stronger month of June than Vance Spafford and he continued his run of dominance on day two of Future 50 after being named a top performer after Friday’s workout. His route running and ability to get in and out of breaks while still being able to stretch the field vertically is mesmerizing. He tracks the ball so comfortably and makes every catch look easy. But he stood out in a special way at the end of the day winning the Fastest Man Challenge against Elbert Hill IV laying down a laser-verified 4.35 40 AFTER workouts were completed. The speed is real and the talent is real. Vance Spafford is the real deal.”

5. RB Savion Hiter (2026)

“The running back group in general at this event I thought was extremely strong. All three backs looked excellent in drill work, but Savion Hiter separated himself from the pack during the pass catching portion of the afternoon. His ability to get in and out of his breaks with hardly any wasted movement at his size is fantastic. But the biggest takeaway for me was his natural ball tracking. He can run the wheel route and he can run up the seam and pluck deep balls effortlessly. He truly doesn’t have to think about catching the football because it is so clearly second nature to him. And at 5-foot-11, 200 pounds, Hiter has the frame, athleticism and natural ball skills to walk into almost any running back room in the country right now and fit right in.”

6. WR Denairius Gray — Auburn commit (2026)

“Another player that has had an extremely strong summer has been wide receiver Denairius Gray. He put on a clinic at the OT7 Championship Finals earlier in June and came out and put together one of the more polished performances of Future 50. He has genuinely rare length at the wide receiver position at 6-foot-1, 180 pounds, Gray has nearly a 6-foot-7 wingspan. There are throws that came out of the quarterback’s hand that you are sure to be overthrown and somehow Gray is able to go up and high point the football and come down with it in bounds and it leaves your jaw on the floor. That catch radius combined with his smooth route running ability allows for him to dominate at all levels of the field.”

7. WR Tristen Keys (2026)

Tristen Keys is the total package. After today’s workout, I feel more and more confident in his ability to win at all three levels of the field. He has that rare combination of fluidity and twitch that every coach is searching for at the receiver position. He does such a great job of sinking his hips at the top of his routes, especially at 6-foot-3, and exploding out. Plus he has the foot speed and body control to throttle up and down during his routes which keeps defenders on their heels. His pacing and timing is so advanced for someone his age and he has natural ball skills. He’s going to walk in and compete for a starting job very early on in his career.”

8. QB Faizon Brandon (2026)

Faizon Brandon put together another strong workout on Saturday morning. He started off fire hot and looked so calm and poised in the pocket. His footwork and ability to maneuver the pocket with such confidence really stood out. The ball continued to jump out of his hand as it usually does and he drives it downfield so easily. His natural ability as a pure thrower is special but he’s also an impressive athlete and I thought he showed that off during rollouts and bootlegs during the individual period. I thought he wilted a bit towards the end of the workout in the accuracy challenge where he sailed the football a little bit, but the masterclass he put on during the individual portion of the workout was so strong I felt he deserved a spot in the top performers off of it alone.”

9. LB Adam Balogoun-Ali (2026)

Adam Balogoun-Ali might have been the most physically impressive linebacker in attendance at Future 50 this weekend and I think the workout on Saturday morning may have proven that he was the most athletic as well. At nearly 6-foot-2, 210 pounds with a 6-foot-6 wingspan, Balogun-Ali has the physical make up and frame that collegiate coaches are looking for at inside linebacker. Combine that with his burst and short area quickness and you have somebody that has the range to cover sideline to sideline as well as the trigger and burst to stop ball carriers at or behind the line of scrimmage. He showed great foot speed and bend during the individual workout Saturday morning and had the best closing speed in the group. He was one of the more physically and athletically impressive athletes on the field.”

10. TE Kendre Harrison (2026)

“If Adam Balogun-Ali was the most physically impressive linebacker in attendance, Kendre Harrison was THE most physically impressive player at the event, PERIOD. He is every bit of 6-foot-5, 250 pounds and has absolutely absurd length with nearly a 7 foot wingspan. Friday afternoon he was stuck snapping the football and being forced to primarily sitting down and finding the soft spot in the zone defense. But today he was able to really run around and show off his ability as a route runner and a pass catcher. Harrison showed he’s a natural ball tracker and can comfortably attack the football in the air. He had a drop or two out there this morning, but with his size moving the way he does and being able to high point the football, he has as high of a ceiling as any player that was in attendance this weekend. He’s a freak of nature.”

Additional Notes

+The quarterback group was solid throughout the entire weekend. I thought Dia Bell and Keisan Henderson both had really bright spots throughout the day. Noah Grubbs faced off against Brady Smigiel as the final two in the accuracy challenge to end the day with Grubbs coming out victorious. I thought both finished the day on high notes. Will Griffin was solid all afternoon, not too high but not too low either. Just an overall good group during Saturday’s workout.

+On the offensive side of the ball I felt like the running back group in general was quite good. I thought Derrek Cooper and Javari Barnett showed great burst and footwork in the individual drills as well as confident route running ability. The pass catchers were all quite strong today as well. The prototypical X receivers that I thought looked good were Travis Johnson, Chris Henry Jr., Jayden Petit and Jordan Gidron. The more Z-type wideouts that I thought had strong showings out there on Saturday were Xavier McDonald, Jabari Mack, and Davion Brown. And shout out to Jahkeem Stewart for competing and running routes at tight end during the flag football games this weekend.

+Defensively I think this group of defensive backs was extremely impressive. A lot of these guys were clean in drill work and showed excellent movement skills during their workouts. Guys like Jett Washington, J’Zavien Currence and Ayden Pouncey all listed over 6-foot-3 moving the way they move was tremendous to watch. Other defensive backs that I thought stood out were Bralan Womack, Blaine Bradford and Elbert Hill IV. Hill also flashed his top end speed finishing second in the Fastest Man Challenge. The linebacker group had a bunch of good prospects as well including Simeon Caldwell, Anthony Davis Jr., Kenneth Goodwin and Izayia Williams all having bright spots throughout the day including defensive lineman Jahkeem Stewart who worked out with the backers during the individual portion of the workout.
