2026 safety Ksani Jiles commits to Washington

Inglewood, Calif. native and IMG Academy (Fla.) three-star safety Ksani Jiles has committed to Washington, per On3’s Hayes Fawcett.
Jiles, a one-time Miami commit, chose Jedd Fisch and the Huskies over the likes of Notre Dame, USC and Oregon.
“The relationship I have built at UW is unmatched and I really love this place… It feels like home,” Jiles told On3’s Chad Simmons about his decision.
The 6-foot, 170-pounder is the No. 492 overall prospect and No. 44 safety in the 2026 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He’s also the No. 76 player in Florida.
Jiles becomes commitment No. 6 for the Huskies’ 2026 class. He’s also the first pledge for UW since Seattle Roosevelt interior offensive lineman Ah Deong Yang committed back in November.

Washington’s 2026 recruiting class ranks No. 41 in the nation, according to the On3 Industry Team Recruiting Rankings. Jiles is the second highest-ranked prospect in the class behind Portland Lakeridge three-star running back Ansu Sanoe, the No. 34 RB in the cycle.
Jiles is the second Golden State native to join the Huskies’ class, flanking Bellflower St. John Bosco three-star kicker CJ Wallace. Half of the pledge list is comprised of in-state recruits, as Deong Yang is joined by Seattle Evergreen three-star wide receiver Terrance Saryon and Sammamish Eastside Catholic three-star linebacker Wassie Lugolobi.
The 2025 cycle saw Fisch and Co. ink the nation’s No. 25 class, including four blue-chip signees. The 2026 class now ranks No. 13 in the Big Ten to date, ahead of the likes of Michigan State, Indiana and Wisconsin.
