DeMarcus Lawrence’s pick-six

As the Cowboys jumped out to an incredible early lead over Washington, Lawrence made a play that helped set a Cowboys’ franchise record. With his touchdown on Sunday, the Cowboys have now had 17 different players score a touchdown on the season.

The interception was the second of Lawrence’s career.

Trevon Diggs ties Cowboys’ history

Lawrence’s interception added to an impressive first quarter by Dallas. On just the second play of the game for Washington, Trevon Diggs intercepted a deep pass and recorded his 11th of the season.

With his 11th interception, Diggs tied the Cowboys’ record for interceptions in a season with two games left to play in the year. The record setting year resulted in being named to the Pro Bowl in his second year in the NFL. Joining him at the Pro Bowl is his rookie star teammate Micah Parsons.

Parsons recorded another sack in the first half against Washington, his 13th sack of the season. Both Parsons and Diggs made waves this year in the conversation for defensive player of the year.
