The Green Bay Packers brought back a childhood favorite on Twitter, using Legos to celebrate a huge Week 8 win. Green Bay defeated the previously unbeaten Arizona Cardinals on Thursday, 24-21 behind several big plays.

The team then posted a tweet of highlights from the game reenacted with Lego men. That included the game-clinching interception from Rasul Douglas with 15 seconds left.

The video begins with a shot from above the building-block stadium, along with voiceover from the Thursday night broadcast. It shows both of quarterback Aaron Rodgers’ touchdown passes to Randall Cobb. It even goes as far as to recreate the hilarious look on Rodgers’ face following a roughing the passer penalty on one of the scores.

The Packers have been on a tear, winners of seven straight following an opening week loss to the Saints. The defense came up big Thursday to force a pair of interceptions from Kyler Murray while also holding the star quarterback without a touchdown.

Playing without receivers Davante Adams and Allen Lazard, Rodgers still manage a respectable stat line. He finished 22-of-37 passing for 184 yards and two touchdowns.

Green Bay has a firm hold on the division lead in the NFC North, with the 3-4 Vikings the next closest team. Rodgers, who won the only Super Bowl appearance in his career, will look to lead them back to the big game this year. He won the MVP in 2020, but the Packers lost to eventual champion Tampa Bay in the NFC Championship game.

They have another big matchup against the Kansas City Chiefs, last year’s Super Bowl runner up, on Sunday. Patrick Mahomes and company haven’t enjoyed as much early success as in the past, and currently sit a 4-4. Still, a victory against the Chiefs might warrant the Green Bay Packers to break out the Legos again.
