WATCH: Jake Fromm throws first career touchdown pass

The Giants turned to Jake Fromm for a spark for their offense. While it wasn’t pretty at times, Fromm is getting his first real opportunity in the NFL.

On Sunday against the Washington Football Team, Fromm threw his first career NFL touchdown pass to wide receiver Darius Slayton.

After once being perceived as a future NFL star, things haven’t worked out that way for Fromm. However, he’ll always be able to say he threw an NFL touchdown.

According to ESPN NFL insider Adam Schefter, the Giants are planning on bringing back both Jones and coach Joe Judge. Meanwhile, the former former Georgia star isn’t expected to factor into their decision.

Jake Fromm wants to throw his name in the ring. The former Georgia star may not change the projections of his NFL career by throwing one touchdown pass, but it’s an accomplishment nonetheless.
