As he works his way back from injury, Odell Beckham Jr. is still a human highlight reel. Prior to the Cleveland Browns final preseason game, the former LSU wide receiver showed off why he’s still one of the best shows in the entire league.

It’s his trademark. The silky-smooth one handed catches is something Beckham Jr. popularized following his legendary touchdown while with the New York Giants. While wide receivers have made one handed catches before, nobody does it with as much swagger as Beckham Jr.

Throughout his career, Beckham Jr’s pregame routine has become sort of legendary. Similar to an Aaron Judge batting practice, fans show up to the stadium early to watch the Browns wide receiver show off his abilities.

While Beckham Jr.’s superstar ability is on display, the statistics haven’t backed him up in years. Unfortunately, injuries and other factors have derailed a record-breaking career.

With his swagger back, can Beckham Jr. return to his old form?

Odell Beckham Jr.’s 2021 Outlook

This season, Beckham Jr. is back from an aforementioned injury that cut his 2020 season short.

The former LSU wide receiver has attacked his recovery from his ACL injury head on, even training with former teammate Saquon Barkley. Moreover, Barkley is returning from the same injury as Beckham Jr.

“Obviously we both wouldn’t want to go through this,” said Barkley, via ESPN. “But I think it’s very important that since we are really close and we know each other so well and we are two competitors and we think we can really help each other, I do think it’s important to really link up.

“But at the same time, we both have to come in with the mindset of getting 1% better each day. That’s what we have to get from each other. Any way you can get it.”

Barkley and Beckham Jr. are both looking to return to their seats at the table featuring the most electrifying players in the league. If his one-handed snag is any indication, Odell Beckham Jr. is on track.
