Baltimore Ravens have 'presented' Odell Beckham Jr. with contract offer
One of the biggest named free agents is still on the open market with Odell Beckham Jr. While many believe the wide receiver is waiting for the New York Jets/Aaron Rodgers situation to unfold, Beckham is still taking meetings with other teams. He already has at least one offer on the table from Baltimore.
According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, there have been meetings between Beckham and Ravens. They have even “presented” him with a contract. Schefter did not have the exact terms but was discussing Beckham possibly taking a one-year ‘prove-it’ type deal for around $15 million.
“The Baltimore Ravens have met with Odell Beckham Jr.,” Schefter said on Monday via NFL Live. “They’ve presented him with their own offer.”
Baltimore has long been searching for a top wide receiver for Lamar Jackson. Only issue? They have not re-signed their franchise quarterback. In fact, Jackson has demanded a trade from the organization and prefers to play his football elsewhere next season.
Mark Andrews was the Ravens’ leading receiver last season. However, he is considered a tight end and despite being an elite one, Baltimore still needs to add. Multiple draft picks have not panned out and if Beckham were to accept the contract offer, he would instantly become the best player in the WR room.

Playing with two different teams during the 2021 season, Beckham caught 44 passes for 537 yards and five touchdowns. He really emerged with the Rams during the playoffs, becoming the go-to weapon for quarterback Matthew Stafford. If Jackson does sign back with Baltimore, they will be hoping for similar results — both for Beckham himself and as a team.
Odell Beckham Jr. returning from torn ACL
Beckham last appeared in a Los Angeles Rams uniform during the Super Bowl. He was on his way to having a great game before tearing his ACL. Despite the heartbreaking injury, the celebration was on for Beckham as he had won his first championship.
Since then, rehabbing and getting back onto the field has been his main priority. For a slim amount of time last season, there was thought somebody would sign Beckham. However, due to health, there was no deal worked out.
Beckham has recently worked out in front of teams and seems prepared to begin the season on time. Multiple options will be available for the wide receiver whenever he decides the time is right to sign a contract.
