2022 Dallas Cowboys: Las Vegas unveils win total odds
The 2022-2023 NFL schedule is set, and with that, Vegas has set their lines for the win totals for next season. According to Vegas Insider, the current line for the Dallas Cowboys is set at 10.5 wins. Dallas is coming off a year in which they dominated their own division, the NFC East, sweeping the conference on their way to a 12-5 record.
Although Dallas lost several key players in the offseason, they are still poised to double-digit games for the second season in a row. One of the key factors to this belief is the Cowboys’ strength of schedule. NFL.com has Dallas tied for first, with the easiest schedule heading into the 2022 season. The Cowboys’ opponents this season have a combined one percentage in 2021 of .462 percent. Along with their division, Dallas will face off against the NFC North and AFC South. All three of the divisions mentioned are considered to be in the bottom echelons of the NFL.
Cowboy fans might not like big is dropping their line after picking up 12 wins last season, but it is understandable. Dallas lost star receiver Amari Cooper after trading him away to the Cleveland Browns. They also parted ways with receiver Cedric Wilson and tackle La’el Collins. Wilson signed with the Dolphins, and Collins headed up north to the Bangles.
Despite Vegas dropping Dallas’ line, they still have the Cowboys with the best line in their division. And if the betting gurus are correct, that would give Dallas back-to-back division championships and playoff berths.

Cowboys sign rookies Sam Williams and Jalen Tolbert
The Dallas Cowboys have officially signed draft picks Sam Williams and Jalen Tolbert. The Cowboys made the announcement on Tuesday, shortly after making deals with their second and third-round picks. With Williams and Tolbert now under contract, that just leaves Dallas’s fourth-round pick tight end Jake Ferguson as the only rookie yet to sign.
The Cowboys selected Williams with the No. 56 overall pick of the 2022 NFL Draft out of Ole Miss. In 2019 he led the Rebels with six sacks and 9.5 tackles for a loss, as well as recording an interception and forced fumble. He was suspended for part of the 2020 season after being charged with sexual battery, although the charges would later be dropped. He returned to the field and led the Rebels again with four sacks. His best season came last year, as Williams tallied 12.5 sacks — a school record — with 16 tackles for a loss and forcing four fumbles. He left Ole Miss with third-team AP All-American and first-team All-SEC honors.
The Cowboys used the No. 88 pick of the 2022 NFL Draft on wide receiver Tolbert out of South Alabama. Tolbert’s 6-foot-3 height and his speed make him an ideal deep and red zone threat for the Cowboys’ passing game. At South Alabama, he had a total of 178 career receptions for 3,140 yards and 22 touchdowns. And just last year, he was named Sun Belt Conference Player of the Year after setting a new school record with 82 catches over their 12-game season.
Their contract details have yet to be released.
