WATCH: Jaylen Brown embarrasses Grayson Allen on first-quarter bucket
The Boston Celtic find themselves in a must-win scenario against the Milwaukee Bucks, looking to avoid going down 0-2 in the Eastern Conference semifinals. Especially since they are playing at home, Boston cannot afford to squander both matchups at TD Garden. Thankfully, Jaylen Brown is doing everything he can to make sure that doesn’t happen.
Late in the fourth quarter, Brown put on a nasty move on Bucks’ guard Grayson Allen. Brown began to drive to the right before hitting a crossover. Just before the Celtics’ star begins to go up for his jump shot, Allen falls to the ground before seeing it go through the hoop. Not only did Brown notch his 14th point of the night but the Boston crowd was sent into a frenzy.
You can watch the full moment here.
The Celtics have grown a large lead thus far in Game 2, having an 11-point advantage at the end of the first quarter. Brown has been a huge factor in the difference, having 17 points, two rebounds, and an assist. In fact, he already has more points than he did in all of Game 1.
As for Allen, he has not contributed too much, having just two points. Considered more of a role player, he is not expected to put up the same kind of numbers somebody like Brown is. Nonetheless, it’s obvious who won the head-to-head matchup on Tuesday night.

Boston will need to keep up the same momentum in order to tie a crucial series against Milwaukee. Going up against the reigning NBA champions is always a difficult task but to advance in the playoffs, winning games at home is usually a must.
No matter the result, the two teams will meet again back in Milwaukee on Saturday night. Game 4 will take place two nights later before the series potentially comes back to Boston.
