As the 2023 NFL Combine warps into high speed as more and more position groups go through the various measurements and testing, more results are in. The 40-yard dash is always a headline-grabber, and there were definitely some head-turning times among the group that ran on Day 2.

With defensive backs getting their crack at the 40-yard dash the leaderboard was basically completely refigured on Friday afternoon.

The fastest time yet was turned in by Michigan cornerback DJ Turner II, who blazed a 4.26 during one of his attempts. So far Turner is the only participant in the 2023 NFL Combine to run sub-4.3.

Not far behind him was Maryland Jakorian Bennett, who just missed the 4.2s when he turned in a 4.30 flat.
