The schedule for the 2024 ManningCast was just announced by ESPN. The alternate Monday Night Football broadcast with Peyton Manning and Eli Manning will begin on Monday, Sept. 9 when the New York Jets take on the San Francisco 49ers. The Manning brothers will return in Week 2 (Sept. 16) to cover the Atlanta Falcons vs. Philadelphia Eagles contest.

There will be 11 episodes of the ManningCast this season, running from the first week to the wild-card round of the playoffs on Jan. 13. To celebrate the schedule, Peyton and Eli Manning produced a musical that includes notable NFL and Hollywood stars.

New to the 2024 season, future Hall of Fame coach Bill Belichick will join the Manning brothers as a featured guest for all 11 episodes. Belichick will regularly appear with Peyton and Eli after the game kicks off and join them during the first half. Peyton and Eli will then bring additional guests in the second half.

“Bill is going to be a permanent guest on every ManningCast show early in the game, probably the first quarter, to kind of take people behind the ropes of what the defense has to do or what this quarterback’s challenges are,” Peyton Manning said on The Pat McAfee Show in May. “I can’t tell you the advantage of having a defensive coach to take the quarterback behind the ropes … Bill’s gonna do that. I think the audience is going to be fascinated by how smart he is.”

ManningCast is a huge success for ESPN

The ManningCast (also known as Monday Night Football with Peyton and Eli) debuted in 2021. In its three seasons, the show has seen a lot of success, winning the Sports Emmy for Outstanding Live Series in 2022 and the Sports Emmy for Outstanding Personality/Sports Event Analyst in 2023 (Peyton Manning).

The plan was sort of the same philosophy,” Peyton Manning said on The Pat McAfee Show last year, per Awful Announcing. “We started out with four guests in year one, we went to three last year. We tried to have three this past season and we’ve had some late cancelations, we’ve only had two guests, so it’s given more time for Eli to make fun of me. It’s certainly given us maybe a little more time to talk some football, so maybe that’s something we’ve kind of stumbled on to. But it’s been fun.”
