2024 NFL Draft: NFL announces legends and active players who will announce picks
When the NFL kicks off its draft tonight in Detroit, commissioner Roger Goodell will do the announcing honors. But the league is changing it up for Friday’s festivities.
Teams will be represented by current or former players, aka the legends. And speaking of wrestling legends, Ric Flair will announce the Tampa Bay pick in the third round. That should be something.
But since we’re coming live from Motown, the Lions need some names at the NFL Draft podium. Barry Sanders will announce the Detroit selection in the second round. Then Calvin Johnson follows with the Lions’ pick in the third.
