NFL announces list of top prospects who will attend 2024 draft
Two weeks before the 2024 NFL Draft gets underway, the league announced 13 players will be in attendance. This year’s draft gets underway April 25 from Detroit.
As will likely be the case on draft day, the quarterbacks headline the list of attendees. Former USC star Caleb Williams leads the way as the presumptive No. 1 overall pick, while the next two highest-rated quarterbacks – former LSU star Jayden Daniels and former North Carolina standout Drake Maye – will also be in the green room.
All 13 players are widely viewed as first-round talent, meaning they likely won’t have to wait long to hear their names called.
- Terrion Arnold, CB, Alabama
- Jayden Daniels, QB, LSU
- Marvin Harrison Jr., WR, Ohio State
- JC Latham, OL, Alabama
- Laiatu Latu, EDGE, UCLA
- Drake Maye, QB, North Carolina
- Quinyon Mitchell, CB, Toledo
- Malik Nabers, WR, LSU
- Rome Odunze, WR, Washington
- Darius Robinson, EDGE, Missouri
- Brian Thomas Jr., WR, LSU
- Dallas Turner, LB, Alabama
- Caleb Williams, QB, USC
This year’s NFL Draft features plenty of high-end talent in the top 10, from the three quarterbacks to the three receivers. It’s shaping up to be a rare year in which three wideouts go in the top 10 picks, headlined by Harrison after a decorated career at Ohio State capped by a Biletnikoff Award a season ago.
In fact, ESPN’s Mel Kiper Jr. projected 13 receivers in the top 50 picks of his latest two-round mock draft and 15 total in his first 64 picks. With that in mind, though, he noted there’s a gap between the top three and the rest of the pack.

There’s plenty of talent to be had, but Kiper said the top three sit alone as the top of the class.
“Make no mistake, there’s three and then there’s a gap,” Kiper said this week when he revealed his latest mock draft. “There’s a drop off. Brian Thomas Jr. isn’t Malik Nabers and Rome Odunze or Marvin Harrison Jr. And Xavier Worthy, Adonai Mitchell and Xavier Legette — the list goes on and on — they are not in that tier, that top tier of these super elite wide receivers.”
Nonetheless, the firepower in this draft is sure to create plenty of intrigue as teams and the 13 prospects converge on Detroit.
The 2024 NFL Draft will be held in Detroit, Michigan, with the first round on Thursday, April 25. Then, the second and third rounds will be April 26, and the fourth through seventh rounds April 27.
