Auburn, the top overall seed in the NCAA Tournament, just completed the entire one-seed edition of the Final Four. Now, following their win in the Elite Eight, the Tigers have their odds of winning the national championship listed.

Per the updated odds at FanDuel, Auburn is still (+500) to take the national title, which is actually just fourth among the four teams left in Duke (+105), Florida (+260), and Houston (+400). That’s the same as it was prior to the win over No. 2 Michigan State in the Elite Eight, which could be a bit of a surprise considering their status as the No. 1 overall seed from this field.

This likely is saying more about the other three teams in the Final Four than it is about the Tiges. Duke continued to dominate this season in their run through the East Region with an average margin of victory of 23.5 points. Florida (12.3 points) and Houston (16 points) maintained their own respective levels of play as well in the West and Midwest. Still, Auburn (12.8 points), despite whatever drop off they could have seen in the past month, could see this as a bit of a slight as the best team during the course of this entire season.

As for their game against an in-conference opponent from the SEC in the national semifinal, Auburn opened as a 2.5-point underdog to No. 1 Florida per Vegas. That comes after the Gators gave them their second-largest loss, as well as had them at their largest deficit of the season of 21, at 90-81 in The Jungle back in the beginning of February. Florida has only gotten better since then in earning their own berth in the Final Four.

Auburn advanced out of the South Regional on Sunday with a 70-64 win over No. 2 Michigan State in Atlanta. The Tigers built as much as a 15-point lead and maintained that around double-digits for the remainder of the win. That completed their tournament run to this point with wins over No. 16 Alabama State, No. 9 Creighton, and then No. 5 Michigan before defeating the Spartans.

Auburn could have some real value there considering those odds as compared to their play over this season. With all of the No. 1 seeds there in San Antonio, though, it’s anyone’s title to win among the four best teams in college basketball.
