An exhilarating Ambetter Health 400 at Atlanta Motor Speedway took center stage on Sunday afternoon, and Christopher Bell stood tall at the end of the evening.

His star continues to rise, and it’s resulted in his odds improving for him to win the 2025 NASCAR Cup Series. Bell outlasted numerous other contenders, like Kyle Larson, William Byron and even Carson Hocevar on his way to the win, clinching his spot in the playoffs once again.

After all the action, DraftKings Sportsbook has released their updated betting lines for which driver will stand above all at the end of the year as champion. Here’s where each wheelman stands following the Ambetter Health 400, with a trip to the Circuit of the Americas on the docket for next weekend.

Kyle Larson (+500)

Kyle Larson seemed destined for victory in Atlanta, but he came up short on the final lap. He might’ve been able to best Christopher Bell and Carson Hocevar in an epic finish if the trio was allowed to race to the finish line, but a caution flag forced him to settle for P3.

Looking ahead, this will be the fifth time Larson races at COTA. His best finish came when he was the runner-up in May of 2021. He’ll be hoping to do one better and get his first win at the track in the Cup Series this time around.

Christopher Bell (+500)

Christopher Bell came up strong in Atlanta, capturing the victory and clinching his spot in the playoffs. It’s easy to see why he’s among the strongest contenders for the championship, and he’s elevated and become a force at each track type, from super-speedways to road courses and everything in between.

Moving forward, Bell’s performance at COTA has been a mixed bag. He has two top three finishes, but he also has finished below P31 twice, as well. We’ll see which version of the Joe Gibbs Racing star ends up showing up this weekend.

William Byron (+600)

William Byron was hoping to follow up his Daytona 500 victory with a win in Atlanta, and start the season off two-for-two. He was a contender throughout the day, but it all fell apart due to a late-race wreck. He ended up P27 when the checkered flag waved.

The good news? COTA has been incredible to Byron throughout the past four years. He hasn’t finished below P12 in any attempt, and he actually won in Austin last season. Perhaps history will repeat itself, like it did during the Daytona 500.

Ryan Blaney (+750)

Ryan Blaney entered Atlanta with high hopes, after performing admirably at the track throughout the 2024 season, and winning the pole for this past weekend’s race. He dealt with a myriad of issues, but the former Cup Series champion finished strong, ending up P4 on the evening.

As the Cup Series moves to Austin, Blaney’s performance at COTA has been a mixed bag. He’s never finished above P6, but he also hasn’t finished below P21. Average has been the name of the game, but perhaps he’ll elevate his game a bit in 2025.

Denny Hamlin (+800)

Denny Hamlin continues to be one of the more consistent drivers in the Cup Series. The veteran wheelman had a solid evening after a disastrous performance in qualifying, as he elevated to finish P6 in the Ambetter Health 400.

Road courses might be the one bugaboo for Hamlin, but he can still get the job done at times. He’s still learning at COTA, as he’s searching for his first top ten at the track in the Cup Series’ return to Austin this weekend.

Joey Logano (+900)

Joey Logano has been incredible at Atlanta over the past few seasons, but he ended up outside the top ten when the dust settled on this past Sunday’s race. Still, P12 is nothing to scoff at, as he bounced back from a wreck in the Daytona 500 to have a solid result.

Back in 2021, Logano came home P3 at COTA, but he’s had some trouble at the track over the last three seasons. He’s finished P31, P28 and P11 in his last couple of attempts, so the three-time Cup Series champion will be hoping to win in Austin this time around.

Tyler Reddick (+900)

After finishing as the runner-up in the Daytona 500, Tyler Reddick was hoping to notch his first win of the season in Atlanta. However, his performance left a bit to be desired, as the 23XI Racing wheelman finished P19 in Georgia.

Moving forward, COTA has been one of Reddick’s top tracks over the course of his career. He’s never finished below P9, and he won the race when the Cup Series arrived in 2023. He’ll be one of the drivers to beat this weekend, for sure.

Chase Elliott (+900)

Atlanta always represented a homecoming for Chase Elliott, and it’s become one of his better tracks. Unfortunately, he was caught up in an incident that put a damper on his evening, and the Team Hendrick wheelman finished P20 on Sunday.

It could be an awesome weekend in COTA, as Elliott has usually performed well in Austin. He won at the track in 2021, and he finished P4 in 2022. A return to Victory Lane at the track would give him a huge early-season boost.
