The odds for who will stand above the field as the 2025 NASCAR Cup Series champion have been updated following Christopher Bell’s victory at the Circuit of the Americas (COTA) in Austin, Texas.

It was the second victory in a row for Bell, as he continues to stake his claim as one of the best drivers in the field. William Byron and Tyler Reddick came close, rounding out the podium at COTA, but they couldn’t get by the No. 20 before the checkered flag waved.

After all the action, DraftKings Sportsbook has released their updated betting lines for which driver will stand above all at the end of the year as champion. Here’s where each wheelman stands following the EchoPark Automotive Grand Prix, with a trip to Phoenix Raceway on the docket for next weekend.

Christopher Bell (+400)

Christopher Bell is staking his claim as one of the top wheelmen in the entire NASCAR Cup Series. After his controversial win in Atlanta, the Joe Gibbs Racing star left no doubt in Austin, coming alive during the final laps to notch his second victory in as many races.

Could Bell make it three in a row? With a trip to Phoenix on the docket, a track where the 30-year old won last March, there’s certainly an opportunity for him to make a bit of history in the desert.

Kyle Larson (+500)

Kyle Larson didn’t have a weekend to remember in Austin, and that’s been the theme of 2025 so far for the Hendrick Motorsports star. He entered the weekend as one of the favorites to win and give his season an early boost, but instead he came home P32 when it was all said and done in Texas.

The good news for Larson is the schedule will be more than favorable for him in the coming weeks. It all starts with this weekend’s race at Phoenix, a track where Larson’s always among the top contenders, even if he’s only won there once, back in 2021.

William Byron (+600)

William Byron has been the class of the field in 2025, along with Christopher Bell. The reigning, back-to-back Daytona 500 champion came up just short of winning at COTA for the second consecutive season, as he finished as the runner-up over the weekend in Austin.

Perhaps he’ll match Bell with his second win of the season at Phoenix this weekend. The Hendrick Motorsports star always performs well at the track, and he won in the desert back in March of 2023.

Ryan Blaney (+750)

Ryan Blaney has become known for his slow starts to the season, and COTA being the third race of the season was never a preferable option for the Team Penske star. It’s been a tough track for the former champion, and his P19 finish was evidence of that over the weekend.

Luckily for Blaney, Phoenix couldn’t come at a better time for him. He has seven straight top five finishes in the desert, but zero wins. He could break through and get the job done this time around.

Denny Hamlin (+800)

Denny Hamlin had an unfortunate weekend in Austin. Instead of competing for the win, he was stuck in traffic for most of the afternoon, and he ended up finishing P21 when the checkered flag waved. Not ideal for the veteran wheelman.

Looking ahead, this will be the 40th time Hamlin heads to Phoenix Raceway in the Cup Series. He’s won at the track twice, the last of which coming in 2019. We’ll see if he can get win No. 3 this weekend.

Tyler Reddick (+900)

Tyler Reddick hasn’t been able to finish the deal yet in 2025, but he continues to compete for wins week-in and week-out. The 23XI Racing star ended up on the podium in Austin, as he finished P3 behind Christopher Bell and William Byron on Sunday.

With Phoenix on the docket this weekend, Reddick will be hoping for a better finish than his average in the desert. He’s improved a bit at the track though, so perhaps he can learn some valuable lessons this time around, as he hopes to be competing for the championship at the track once again this fall.

Chase Elliott (+900)

Chase Elliott was forced to battle from the very beginning of the race in Austin, as he was spun in the first turn of the day by Ross Chastain. The sport’s most popular wheelman was able to salvage his afternoon and then some, ending up P4 when the checkered flag waved.

Looking ahead, Elliott only has one win at Phoenix Raceway, but it came at the perfect time, as it notched him the 2020 Cup Series title. This will be his 18th time racing in the desert since moving up to the top level, so we’ll see if win No. 2 will come this weekend.

Joey Logano (+1000)

It was an unremarkable showing for Joey Logano at COTA, after he had speed at both Daytona and Atlanta. The reigning NASCAR Cup Series champion started in P23 and ended up finishing P24. He’ll be happy to leave this trip to Austin in the past.

With Phoenix Raceway on the schedule for this weekend, Logano has a major shot at turning his season around. Of course, he won the race and the championship last fall at the track, but he has four wins in total in Arizona. Perhaps No. 5 will come this Sunday afternoon.
