2025 NASCAR Cup Series Championship odds: Betting lines updated after Homestead

The odds for who will stand above the field as the 2025 NASCAR Cup Series champion have been updated. Kyle Larson’s win in the Straight Talk Wireless 400 at Homestead-Miami Speedway certainly switched up the betting lines.
A weekend sweep was on the table, but a tough restart ended Larson’s bid for victory in the Xfinity Series race on Saturday. Two out of three ain’t bad though. Some other wheelmen had solid performances in Florida as well, like Alex Bowman and Bubba Wallace, who competed for the win throughout the final stage of the race.
After all the action, DraftKings Sportsbook has released their updated betting lines for which driver will stand above all at the end of the year as champion. Here’s where each wheelman stands following the Straight Talk Wireless 400, with a trip to Martinsville Speedway on the docket for next weekend.

Christopher Bell (+330)
Christopher Bell is still the favorite to win the 2025 NASCAR Cup Series title after notching three consecutive wins, but he had a tough weekend at Homestead, a track where he usually excels. The Joe Gibbs Racing star began the Straight Talk Wireless 400 in P16, and he finished the afternoon in P29.
Moving ahead to Martinsville, Bell has won at the track in the past, clinching his spot in the Championship 4 in Virginia back in October of 2022. He didn’t have much luck at the track last season though, so he’ll be looking to get back to some strong performances at the short-track this time around.
Kyle Larson (+350)

Kyle Larson had a weekend to remember at Homestead. He won the Truck Series race on Friday, and then he dominated the Xfinity Series race on Saturday. While a late restart thwarted his attempt at a win and created a bit of beef between him and Sam Mayer, Larson rebounded on Sunday, elevating during the final stage to win his first race of the Cup Series season in 2025.
After watching Christopher Bell win multiple races in a row, perhaps it’s Larson’s turn to establish some dominance. With Martinsville on the docket, a track he’s been incredible at over the past few seasons, it’s more than possible. He won at the track in April of 2023.
William Byron (+600)
William Byron was hoping to win his second race of the season, but it wasn’t meant to be at Homestead, a track he’s won at before. Still, he can’t complain too much, as he continued his impressive 2025 with a P12 finish on the afternoon.
That aforementioned second win could come this weekend for Byron. He’s headed to one of his favorite tracks in Martinsville. Byron’s won at the track twice, including last season’s spring race in Virginia.
Ryan Blaney (+800)
Ryan Blaney seemed primed for his first win of the 2025 season, dominating most of the Straight Talk Wireless 400 through two stages. However, a blown engine ended up being the downfall of the No. 12 team. Instead of a trip to Victory Lane, Blaney took a trip to the garage, where he finished P36.
Thankfully for Blaney, he’s headed to a track in Martinsville that he’s more than fond of. He’s won in Virginia twice, including last season’s playoff date for the short-track. Back-to-back dubs at Martinsville is certainly possible.
Chase Elliott (+1000)

Perhaps it’s time to start worrying about Chase Elliott. While he’s piling up above-average finishes, he wasn’t really a true factor during the Cup Series’ trip to Homestead. He ended up finishing P18, the same place he started the Straight Talk Wireless 400.
One thing the sport’s most popular wheelman has going for him is Martinsville is one of the best tracks on the schedule for him. Last season, he came close to winning during both trips to the short-track, finishing P3 in the spring, and P2 in the fall. That trend would have him winning this time around.
Denny Hamlin (+1100)
Denny Hamlin had a new sponsor on his hood in Progressive, and it was the start of a beautiful partnership in Florida. The veteran wheelman was competitive throughout the afternoon, coming up with a fifth-place finish when the checkered flag waved over the weekend.

Looking ahead, Hamlin will return to his home state to race at a track he has immense experience at this weekend. He’s won five times in 38 tries at Martinsville, but his last dub came a little less than ten years ago. He’s due for another grandfather clock.
Tyler Reddick (+1100)
Tyler Reddick has had a couple memorable performances at Homestead in his NASCAR career. He added another solid chapter into his time racing at the track, as the 23XI Racing wheelman finished P8 this past Sunday.
While Reddick can get the job done on almost any style of track, Martinsville has been a struggle for him. He’s only finished in the top ten twice in 10 attempts. It’d be an upset if he won, but don’t count Reddick out, or it might be a hard-learned lesson.
Joey Logano (+1600)

Joey Logano was hoping for another victory at Homestead, the track where he won his first NASCAR Cup Series title. He’ll certainly be satisfied with a P14 finish though, considering how his season has gone in 2025 heading into the race.
As the calendar turns to this coming weekend, Logano will be happy to see Martinsville on the schedule. The three-time Cup Series champion has got the job done at the track in the past, and he’s usually guaranteed at least a top-ten finish. We’ll see if he can keep the good times rolling.
Kyle Busch (+2500)
Kyle Busch is still looking for his first win in quite a while, and some predicted Homestead could be the place where he returned to Victory Lane. Instead, the Richard Childress Racing wheelman finished P21, a minor disappointment considering his stature.
Martinsville will be the site of this weekend’s race, and Busch will suit up to attempt to win his third grandfather clock in his 40th attempt. He’s struggled at the track recently, but the two-time champion has been solid overall in Virginia throughout his Cup Series career.
Ross Chastain (+2800)
Ross Chastain couldn’t get the job done in his home state of Florida. The Trackhouse Racing star didn’t have the best afternoon, finishing P31 after starting back in P25. He’s going to want to put this one behind him, and in quick fashion.
As the Cup Series heads back to Martinsville, it’ll always be known as the track that made Chastain famous, due to his “Hail Melon” maneuver to make the Championship 4 a couple of years back. He hasn’t finished below P15 at the track since April 2022, so there could be some major points earned for the No. 1 Chevrolet wheelman this coming weekend.
