The odds for who will stand above the field as the 2025 NASCAR Cup Series champion have been updated following Josh Berry’s landmark win in the Pennzoil 400 at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.

With the win, Berry is locked into the playoffs, and the Wood Brothers are looking like a formidable team once again. Christopher Bell’s three-race win streak came to an end, but he’s looking for his fourth win in five tries at one of his best tracks this weekend, as the Cup Series will head to the Sunshine State once again in 2025 for the Straight Talk Wireless 400 in Miami.

After all the action, FanDuel Sportsbook has released their updated betting lines for which driver will stand above all at the end of the year as champion. Here’s where each wheelman stands following the Pennzoil 400, with a trip to Homestead-Miami Speedway on the docket for next weekend.

Christopher Bell (+380)

Christopher Bell couldn’t get the job done and win his fourth race in a row in 2025. Still, he had a solid afternoon in Sin City. The Joe Gibbs Racing star qualified P13, and finished P12 when the checkered flag waved.

Moving forward, Homestead has been a strong track for Bell in the past. He’s raced there five times, won once and never finished below P20. Talk about an opportunity for a bounce-back performance, and a fourth win in five tries.

Kyle Larson (+600)

Kyle Larson loves Las Vegas Motor Speedway. It was a solid performance for him over the weekend, and he notched a top ten with a P9 finish. Still, he certainly expected a little more heading into the Pennzoil 400.

Speaking of more, that could come for Larson at Homestead. It’s arguably his best track in the Cup Series, and he’s always a threat to win when NASCAR heads to Miami. His win at the venue came in 2022, and No. 2 could be on the docket.

William Byron (+650)

William Byron had a heck of a car in Las Vegas, but he came up just short of the podium. The reigning back-to-back winner of the Daytona 500 continued his torrid start to the 2025 season, finishing P4 in Nevada.

When Byron started his NASCAR career, he was awful at Homestead, finishing P24 and P39 in his first two attempts. However, it’s been smooth sailing ever since, as he has a win and hasn’t finished below P12 since 2020.

Ryan Blaney (+800)

It’s been a miserable start to the season for Ryan Blaney, and the Team Penske wheelman is starting to get frustrated. After blowing an engine at Phoenix Raceway, the former Cup Series champion wrecked in Las Vegas. He finished P35 when it was all said and done.

With Homestead this coming weekend, Blaney could finally get over the hump and win in Miami. He’s come in P2 the last two times the Cup Series has headed to the track, and his time might be coming after some disappointing results in 2025.

Chase Elliott (+1000)

Chase Elliott had to fight throughout the afternoon in Nevada. However, he was rewarded for his effort. He didn’t contend for the win, but the former Cup Series champion notched a top ten in Las Vegas, finishing P10.

One has to wonder though, when will Elliott make it back to Victory Lane? It’s been a minute, and the most popular driver in the sport wants to take the checkered flag sooner rather than later. Homestead will be an interesting opportunity. He’s never won in Miami, but Elliott did finish P2 in 2020.

Joey Logano (+1100)

Joey Logano came into the weekend that was in Las Vegas with high hopes. It’s one of his best tracks, and he qualified on the front row. While he didn’t end up going back to Victory Lane, he finished with a solid P15 run. Not too shabby for the veteran.

As we turn the page to Homestead, this will be Logano’s 17th race in Miami. He only has one win, but it was a huge one, as he got to Victory Lane to win the race and the championship in 2018, his first of three.

Denny Hamlin (+1100)

Denny Hamlin had more luck at the casino than on the track in Las Vegas. He was never truly a factor over the weekend, starting P15 and finishing P25. Maybe his performance on the slot machines in Sin City will be a precursor for success over the rest of the season though. They certainly weren’t this past Sunday.

As Hamlin looks to get back to Victory Lane, Homestead is coming at the perfect time. It’s a track that’s always been kind to him, and he has three wins in Miami. This could be the spot for his first win of 2025.

Tyler Reddick (+1100)

Tyler Reddick had one of the more disappointing runs of anyone in Las Vegas. He always is among the strongest cars when the Cup Series heads to Nevada, but the 23XI Racing wheelman never quite got into a groove. He qualified P14, and finished P24.

Perhaps Homestead is coming at the perfect time for Reddick. He’s incredible in Miami, and won in exhilarating fashion during last season’s run to the Championship 4. He’s also only finished outside the top five once in five attempts. Could he go back to back at the track? Don’t bet against him.
