The odds for who will stand above the field as the 2025 NASCAR Cup Series champion have been updated following Christopher Bell’s victory during the first of two trips to Phoenix Raceway this season.

It was Bell’s third-straight win, as he’s been to Victory Lane in three of the four races to start the 2025 season. He’s certainly been the most impressive driver in the field, and it’s no surprise his odds to win this season’s title continue to get shorter and shorter. He could be in the midst of a legendary season.

After all the action, DraftKings Sportsbook has released their updated betting lines for which driver will stand above all at the end of the year as champion. Here’s where each wheelman stands following the Shriners Children’s 500, with a trip to Las Vegas Motor Speedway on the docket for next weekend.

Christopher Bell (+330)

Christopher Bell etched his name into NASCAR history at Phoenix Raceway, winning his third consecutive race, becoming the first driver since Kyle Larson in 2021 to do so. He’s the class of the field at the moment, on a mission to win his first championship of his career Cup Series career in 2025.

With Las Vegas on the docket this weekend, could Bell win a fourth race in a row? He’s started on the pole three times in Sin City, and he’s finished as the runner-up twice, but Bell’s never been to Victory Lane at the track, at least not yet. Perhaps that’ll change this time around.

Kyle Larson (+500)

Kyle Larson’s had an uneven start to the 2025 season, but Phoenix ended up being a solid afternoon for the No. 5 team. He battled throughout the day, and he ended up with a chance at the win when the checkered flag waved. He settled for third, but Larson will take a podium finish.

The good news for Larson is Las Vegas Motor Speedway is one of his best tracks. He’s won in Sin City three times, including two of the Cup Series’ last three trips to the venue. Larson has specifically excelled at the spring date in his career, so we’ll see if he can get the job done again.

William Byron (+600)

William Byron was on the pole for Sunday’s race in Arizona, and he looked to be the car to beat from the onset. However, it wasn’t meant to be for the reigning Daytona 500 winner, as Byron ended up coming home P6 in the desert. At least he continued the blazing start to the season he’s on.

The Hendrick Motorsports star is still the only driver outside of Christopher Bell to win a race this season. He won at Las Vegas Motor Speedway in 2023, so count on Byron to be a contender once again this weekend, which has become the norm for the No. 24 team.

Ryan Blaney (+750)

Phoenix has been one of Ryan Blaney’s best tracks on the schedule, but he ran into trouble during the Shriners Children’s 500. He blew his engine late in the afternoon, and it unfortunately led to a P28 finish for the former Cup Series champion.

Looking ahead, Blaney will look to rebound in Las Vegas this coming weekend. While he’s never won at the track in 17 tries, he’s come close, including a P3 finish last season. Maybe luck will be on his side this time around, unlike what went down at Phoenix.

Denny Hamlin (+900)

Denny Hamlin fought his way to the front at Phoenix over the weekend, and he had a chance at winning his first race of 2025. However, his teammate Christopher Bell got the better of him, and the veteran wheelman had to settle for a runner-up finish in the desert. Still, a promising result for the No. 11 team.

Throughout his Cup Series career, Hamlin has raced at Las Vegas Motor Speedway a whopping 26 times. However, he only has one win at the track, and that came in 2021. He usually finishes in the top ten though, but Hamlin would love to get win No. 2 in Sin City this coming weekend.

Chase Elliott (+900)

Chase Elliott started the Shriners Children’s 500 P6, but he had to fight throughout the afternoon for a top ten when the checkered flag waved. It’s been an odd start to the season for Elliott, but perhaps another top ten will lead to some more fruitful weeks for the No. 9 team. They seem to be on the up and up.

Unfortunately, Las Vegas Motor Speedway hasn’t always been kind to Elliott. He’s never won at the track, and he finished P33 last October. His best finish was as the runner-up in September of 2021. We’ll see if he can elevate his game and get his first win in a while.

Tyler Reddick (+900)

Phoenix left a lot to be desired for Tyler Reddick. The 23XI Racing wheelman finished P20 in the desert, after looking like a contender to win during the first stage of the race. He certainly wasn’t satisfied with his performance in Arizona.

This will be Reddick’s 11th trip to Las Vegas as  member of the Cup Series. He’s never won, but he came home P2 during last season’s spring trip to Sin City. After the disappointment Phoenix brought, we’ll see if he can bounce back and contend for the win once again this time around.

Joey Logano (+1000)

Joey Logano looked fast as ever at Phoenix, even with his penalty for going below the yellow line before the start-finish-line earlier in the race. He ended up with a P13 finish at the end of the afternoon, far from what he expected after winning last season’s finale in the desert.

The last time the Cup Series took their show to Las Vegas, Logano punched his ticket to the Championship 4 with an incredible strategy call. In total, he’s won four times in Sin City. It’s easy to see why he’ll be predicted to contend at the track this coming weekend, if history is any indication.
