2025 NASCAR Cup Series Championship odds: Betting lines updated after Talladega

The odds for who will stand above the field as the 2025 NASCAR Cup Series champion have been updated. Austin Cindric rocketed up the betting lines after his victory at Talladega Superspeedway on Sunday afternoon.
It was far from the most eventful trip to Alabama for the Cup Series, but Cindric, who’s been awesome on superspeedways all season long, finally finished the job. Ryan Preece gave him a run for the money on the final lap, but the RFK Racing wheelman finished as the runner-up before a surprising disqualification put a damper on his performance. Joey Logano was also disqualified.
After all of the action, FanDuel Sportsbook has released their updated betting lines for which driver will stand above all at the end of the year as champion. Here’s where each wheelman stands entering Texas this coming weekend, following the fun at Talladega.

Kyle Larson (+310)
Kyle Larson continued his impressive season with a podium finish at Talladega. Superspeedway racing doesn’t always come easy to him, so a runner-up performance in Alabama is more than acceptable.
This week’s trip to Texas will be Larson’s 20th time racing at the track in the Cup Series. He’s won there twice, but it’s been a while. The last time he went to Victory Lane in Texas was October of 2021.
Christopher Bell (+480)

Christopher Bell may have some beef with his teammate in Denny Hamlin after the two made contact at Talladega over the weekend. It led to the No. 20 Toyota coming home P35. Certainly not what he expected heading into Alabama.
Moving forward, Bell has never won at Texas. Still, he’s performed well at the track. His best finish is third, which he’s done twice in eight attempts.
Denny Hamlin (+600)
Denny Hamlin had a disappointing afternoon in Alabama. After last fall’s rough go-round at Talladega, Hamlin expected to do better this time around, but he was only able to muster a P21 finish.
As he looks to get back on track, this will be Hamlin’s 37th time racing at Texas. He has three wins at the track, but he hasn’t found Victory Lane there since March of 2019.
Ryan Blaney (+650)
Ryan Blaney watched as his teammates were able to fight for the win at the end of the race. Unfortunately, it wasn’t a weekend he’ll soon want to remember, as the No. 12 team finished P37, saved by two disqualifications after the race from finishing dead-last.
Blaney’s won at Texas in the past, so perhaps a return to Victory Lane is on the docket for the Team Penske wheelman. That came in 2022. He didn’t have much luck there last season, finishing 33rd in 2024.

William Byron (+700)

After winning the Daytona 500, William Byron had dreams of finding Victory Lane at Talladega. He came close, but he couldn’t make a last-lap pass for the win. He had to settle for third, not too shabby.
Texas has been one of Byron’s best tracks in the Cup Series since he joined the sport full-time. He won there in 2023, and he finished third last season. We’ll see if No. 2 is on the docket this time around.
Chase Elliott (+1000)
Chase Elliott was able to notch a top five, the third Hendrick car to do so at Talladega. He finished fifth, rounding out the best of the best at Talladega. Another great performance in Alabama for the sport’s most popular wheelman.
Last season, Elliott broke his drought with a win at Texas. Ironically, he hasn’t won since. Perhaps more good luck will return to the No. 9 team back at the track in 2025.
Tyler Reddick (+1000)
Tyler Reddick was victorious during last spring’s trip to Talladega. He couldn’t get to Victory Lane this time around. The 23XI Racing wheelman finished P14.
At least Texas represents a chance for Reddick to get the win once again. He finished second during his first race at the track in the Cup Series back in 2020, and he won there in 2022. He’ll be a force once again.
Joey Logano (+1500)
A top-five turned into a dead-last finish for Joey Logano at Talladega. It was a miserable weekend, as Logano caught major flak for ripping teammate Austin Cindric on the radio, and then his Ford was disqualified after the race.
Moving ahead to Texas, this will be Logano’s 32nd time racing at the track. He’s won there only once, back in 2014. Still, he’s performed well over the course of his career at the venue, and you can never count out the three-time Cup Series champion.
