NFL Draft AFI -
On3

CBS Sports released its Round 4 mock for the 2025 NFL Draft and Shedeur Sanders was finally selected. Now, we have to wait and see if it actually happens Saturday afternoon.

“Thank you GOD for EVERYTHING,” Sanders wrote on Twitter. The QB posted at 10:45 p.m. ET when he was not selected through 91 picks.

However he’s doing it, Sanders is staying strong following projections of a first round selection. So let’s dive into CBS Sports’ mock draft for Round 4 and see where Sanders ends up.

103. Tennessee Titans: Jordan Hancock, CB – Ohio State

Hancock goes to the Titans, adding to the secondary. Tennessee has their quarterback, taking Ward over Sanders with the top pick.

Hancock played four years at Ohio State. He finished with 98 tackles, three interceptions, four tackles for loss and 2.5 sacks. He also had a pick six and four forced fumbles.

104. Jacksonville Jaguars: Bradyn Swinson, EDGE – LSU

The Jaguars made the biggest splash of the first round, trading up to get Heisman winner Travis Hunter. They’ll add to the defense here with Swinson on the edge.

Sanders didn’t seem to be an option for Jacksonville, considering Trevor Lawrence is still entrenched as the starting quarterback. But we’ve seen teams take wild swings before.

105: New York Giants: Jackson Slater, OL – Sacramento State

The Giants are set at quarterback now, so they’ll add to the offensive line in the fourth round. Slater is a solid interior lineman.

New York didn’t take Sanders when they traded up in the first round, rather they selected Ole Miss’ Jaxson Dart. He’s the future while he learns from Russell Wilson and Jameis Winston.

106. New England Patriots: Jack Sawyer, EDGE – Ohio State

The Patriots don’t need a quarterback, considering the investment in last year’s first pick Drake Maye. And, they get a solid player in Sawyer, who was a dog at Ohio State.

Sanders was never going to the Patriots by the way. Sawyer finished his Buckeyes’ career with 144 tackles, 23 sacks and 29 tackles for loss, winning the national championship this past season.

107: Jacksonville Jaguars: Marcus Mbow, OT – Purdue

Since they won’t take Sanders, the Jaguars will add to their insurance for Lawrence. Invest in offensive linemen!

Mbow fits the mold at offensive tackle for Jacksonville. He’s a unique player, being able to slide all over the line and has great athletic traits that can be developed.

108. Las Vegas Raiders: Elic Ayomanor, WR – Stanford

The Raiders were certainly a candidate to take Sanders in this draft, but they won’t pull the trigger here. Ayomanor is the selection, giving Geno Smith another weapon on offense.

Ayomanor was productive in two years at Stanford after he transferred in. He had 125 catches for 1,844 yards and 12 touchdowns in the last two years.

109. Chicago Bears: Bhayshul Tuten, RB – Virginia Tech

The Bears, who were linked to Ashton Jeanty in the first round, get their running back here. Sanders was never in play for Chicago, which has Caleb Williams.

He had a great season in 2024. Tuten finished the year with 183 carries for 1,159 yards, 15 touchdowns and 6.3 yards per carry.

110. New York Jets: Jalen Royals, WR – Utah State

The Jets get another weapon in Royals, who can add another dimension to the receiving room. New York could take a flier on Sanders, but perhaps want to see where Justin Fields can take them.

Not to mention new head coach Aaron Glenn is taking the no nonsense approach. So if you believe there’s a “circus” coming with Sanders, the Jets probably had enough dealing with Aaron Rodgers for two years.

111. Philadelphia Eagles: Tyler Baron, EDGE – Miami

No Eagles quarterback factory here! Jalen Hurts is in his prime and Sanders isn’t the option for a backup like Hurts was, initially, to former franchise QB Carson Wentz.

Baron played with Tennessee and then finished up with Miami in 2024. He finished with 139 total tackles, 19 sacks and 39 tackles for loss in his career.

112. New Orleans Saints: Denzel Burke, CB – Ohio State

The Saints already drafted Tyler Shough to be the future quarterback over Sanders. So, they’ll go defense here with Burke.
Burke was solid throughout his career at Ohio State and his game should translate well to the NFL. He had 143 total tackles, nine tackles for loss and four interceptions in his career.
