2205 NFL Draft
On3

Just nine days separate us from now and the 2025 NFL Draft. The city of Green Bay will be playing host at one of the league’s most historic stadiums, Lambeau Field. Teams will be looking for future stars for three days in the offseason’s most important event.

To celebrate, CBS Sports has released its latest mock draft. Mike Renner produced three rounds, giving fans a look at who their teams might select on Thursday and Friday night.

Plenty of quarterbacks get taken off the board, with seven being taken in the mock draft. You can check out all 102 mock picks from CBS below.

1. Tennessee Titans – Miami QB Cam Ward

Over the past few weeks, all reports have indicated Tennessee will be taking Ward. Just around a week before the draft, seemingly nothing has changed.

CBS: “It would be a shock if it’s anyone else at this point. The experienced quarterback has aced the pre-draft process and has easily the best physical skillset of any quarterback in the class.”

2. Cleveland Browns – Colorado CB/WR Travis Hunter

Cleveland can really set the tone for the rest of the first round with this selection. CBS has them taking Hunter and adding one of the league’s first two-way players in a long time.

CBS: “The Browns could use the weapons for whomever is under center next fall. With multiple expiring contracts at corner after this season, Hunter could work into a bigger two-way role as his career progresses.”

3. New York Giants – Penn State EDGE Abdul Carter

Getting quarterback done via free agency, New York can go with the best player available. Some might tell you Carter is the best prospect in the entire draft, regardless of position.

CBS: “You just don’t pass on this type of talent even with a crowded edge room. The Giants know full well in their own division what having a rotation of capable rushers can do for a defense.”

4. New England Patriots – LSU OT Will Campbell

Somebody needs to protect Drake Maye for the next decade. Debates have taken place on where Campbell best fits along the offensive line. Campbell feels as if left tackle is where he will best fit, no matter who winds up taking him.

CBS: “This is where it starts to get interesting. Campbell is a safe play as he profiles to an elite guard, even if his lack of length is an issue at tackle.”

5. Jacksonville Jaguars – Michigan DT Mason Graham

Graham is widely viewed as the best interior defensive lineman this year — a group filled with a ton of talent. Jacksonville has been a popular landing spot for him in mocks and CBS is no different.

CBS: “Graham is a high-floor defensive tackle going to a team that desperately needs that at the position. He’s also already a veteran in terms of his hand usage with quicks to win as a pass-rusher.”

6. Las Vegas Raiders – Boise State RB Ashton Jeanty

There are multiple landing spots for Jeanty and No. 6 to Las Vegas is likely the ceiling. Jeanty would be able to stay out West and become the face of a new era for the Raiders.

CBS: “Pete Carroll‘s love for the running back position likely only grew seeing Saquon Barkley lead the Eagles to a Super Bowl in his year off. Jeanty is easily a top-10 talent at the position.”

7. New York Jets – Missouri OT Armand Membou

Multiple offensive tackles have been taken by the Jets in recent years. Even so, new head coach Aaron Glenn is going to want to shore things up at the line of scrimmage. Membou has seen his stock soar in recent months, sliding into the top 10.

CBS: “Hitting on back-to-back offensive tackles would set the Jets up for long-term success. It’s exactly what new offensive coordinator Tanner Engstrand had in Detroit. Membou can be a special run blocker on the right side.”

8. Carolina Panthers – Georgia EDGE Jalon Walker

After heavily focusing on the offensive end in recent years, CBS has Carolina turning to defense for the No. 8 overall pick. Walker is a versatile player with high pass-rushing upside, potentially being exactly what they need.

CBS: “Walker is the top 3-4 outside linebacker on my draft board and goes to a Panthers defense in desperate need of that skillset. He’s the perfect modern hybrid rusher.”

9. New Orleans Saints – Texas A&M EDGE Shemar Stewart

Late in the process, New Orleans is being linked to taking a quarterback here. Recent news of Derrick Carr could switch up the draft strategy. But for now, Stewart is the mock draft selection.

CBS: “Stewart is the kind of high-upside edge rusher the Saints can afford to take a chance on in their current timeline. He’s got freakish athletic traits that no one else in the class can match.”

10. Chicago Bears – Penn State TE Tyler Warren

Maybe the only thing booed louder on Thursday night than Roger Goodell will be this selection. Warren would see his NFL career begin in the city that Bears fans absolutely dread. But maybe the tight end can become a Packers killer.

CBS: “Warren is a mismatch weapon in the Bears offense that can pair in Ben Johnson’s famous two tight end sets with Cole Kmet. His ability to win consistently underneath from the slot could make him Caleb Williams’ best friend.”
