2025 NFL Draft: ESPN shakes up mock after draft order locked in ahead of CFP semifinals
On3

The latest 2025 NFL Mock Draft is here from ESPN’s Jordan Reid with the draft order locked in ahead of the NFL playoffs.

Of course, the postseason has to play out first, but we have a clearer look at who’s picking where. There are some QB hungry teams at the top and some elite players going in the top 10.

Without further ado, let’s dive into ESPN’s latest NFL Mock Draft.

1. Tennessee Titans: Cam Ward, QB – Miami

The Titans go all in on a new franchise QB in Ward after a stellar college career. He saved his best for last at Miami, becoming a Heisman contender.

He has a cannon for an arm, can be elusive in the pocket and has been a good decision maker. It seems like Tennessee is ready to shake things up.

2. Cleveland Browns: Shedeur Sanders, QB – Colorado

Sanders is the next best QB in this draft, at least according to Reid. He excelled in his two seasons at Colorado and during his time at Jackson State.

If the Browns can finally rid themselves of Deshaun Watson, it’ll be a clean slate for Cleveland as Kevin Stefanski would love the opportunity to work with a new franchise guy. Sanders certainly has the tools.

3. New York Giants: Travis Hunter, WR/CB – Colorado

Hunter is arguably the best overall player in the NFL Draft this year. The Heisman winner plans to play both ways in the pros, but that remains to be seen.

The Giants practically need everything and short of a trade up for a QB, Hunter is the pick. They’d be wise to bring some juice back to the franchise, giving them a playmaker at WR or a shutdown corner. Or heck, both!

4. New England Patriots: Kelvin Banks Jr., OT – Texas

The Patriots need a lot as well, especially after hiring head coach Jerod Mayo after just one season. Drake Maye needs to be protected and needs weapons.

But let’s start up front with the best tackle in this draft. Banks has been a stalwart for the Longhorns and should make an instant impact.

5. Jacksonville Jaguars: Will Johnson, CB – Michigan

Johnson might be the best overall cornerback in the draft, depending upon who you ask. While he missed about half the season, he was a key cog to Michigan’s national title run in 2023.

Johnson is as NFL-ready as it gets. It just remains to be seen how healthy he’ll be at the start of the 2025 season.

6. Las Vegas Raiders: Abdul Carter, EDGE – Penn State

Carter is a game wrecker off the edge and if the Raiders can’t get a QB, you might as well beef up the pass rush. Maxx Crosby and Carter? Good luck.

Carter was banged up in Penn State’s CFP quarterfinal win, but is ready to play in the semifinals. He’s an absolute game changer any time he’s on the field.

7. New York Jets: Mason Graham, DT – Michigan

Graham is another defensive lineman who’s a can’t-miss guy. He was one of the best parts about Michigan this year, despite just an 8-5 record.

He’s a disruptor in the middle, drawing double teams and opening things up for his teammates. Not only that, he’ll eat up the run and rush the passer. Boost this Jets defense, regardless of what they do at QB and coach in 2025.

8. Carolina Panthers: Mykel Williams, EDGE – Georgia

Williams is another standout pass rusher and it seems like the Panthers have something cooking with Bryce Young at QB now. Now, get some juice for the defense.

Williams could go higher, but Carter is still in this draft. Carolina would be wise to take this man because he won’t last longer than the top 10.

9. New Orleans Saints: Tetairoa McMillan, WR – Arizona

The Saints need a total reset but if they bring back some familiar faces, you might as well add a weapon to the offense. McMillan can stretch the field and go up and get it.

Putting him and Chris Olave, a healthy one at least, on the same field would be quite a challenge for opposing defenses. New Orleans needs some offensive firepower in this draft.

10. Chicago Bears: Will Campbell, OT – LSU

Let’s protect Caleb Williams shall we? The Bears have a big decision at head coach but at the very least, protect the franchise quarterback so he can actually find the play makers on this offense.

Is this the only piece Chicago needs to get to the postseason next year? No, but it’ll certainly help Williams by getting one of the best offensive linemen in the draft class.
