The 2025 NFL Draft is fast approaching and ESPN’s Field Yates revealed his latest two-round mock draft that features trades. Not only that, there are five quarterbacks selected in the first 64 picks.

It seems like this is the time of year where the quarterbacks start rising up mock drafts and boards. We know about Cam Ward and Shedeur Sanders, but more are rising.

Without further ado, let’s dive into Yates’ mock draft for ESPN. There are bound to be some surprises.

1. Tennessee Titans: Cam Ward, QB – Miami

The Titans get their new franchise quarterback in Ward as Yates puts him No. 1 in this mock draft. Ward’s widely considered the top QB in the draft.

He’s got a cannon, is mobile and has that franchise swagger. Tennessee will hit a reset button after the failed Will Levis experiment.

2. Cleveland Browns: Abdul Carter, EDGE – Penn State

The Browns might need a new quarterback now that the owners admitted their Deshaun Watson mistake. However, it’s hard to pass up on Carter and pairing him with Myles Garrett on defense.

That’s what Yates goes with in this mock draft. Carter and Garrett? Yeah, good luck AFC North, that’s going to be brutal to deal with.

3. New York Giants: Shedeur Sanders, QB – Colorado

Despite signing Jameis Winston and Russell Wilson, the Giants will add a fourth quarterback. Bye bye Tommy Devito? Or who’s getting cut? Because it isn’t Sanders.

This mock draft has Sanders becoming the new franchise QB of the Giants, either this year or next. Sanders said he can change a franchise’s fortunes, so New York is trying to cash that lottery ticket.

4. New England Patriots: Travis Hunter, WR/CB – Colorado

Sticking with the Colorado theme in the mock draft, Hunter will go next. The Heisman Trophy winner won’t get out of the top five.

It’s a matter of what position Hunter will play in the NFL. He said he wants to play offense and defense, but it might be hard to sustain in the pros like he did in college. Either way, Hunter gives New England an elite option on either side.

5. Jacksonville Jaguars: Mason Graham, DT – Michigan

Another mock draft, another Graham to Jacksonville selection. There’s one of these every year, where a player and a team are just made for each other in all of these projections.

The Michigan defensive tackle was a key cog to their national title in 2023-24 and remained dominant last season. He’s an instant impact type of a player for a team that certainly needs a jolt.

6. Las Vegas Raiders: Ashton Jeanty, RB – Boise State

The Raiders make a splash in this mock draft by selecting the Heisman runner-up. Jeanty averaged seven yards a carry and had a historic campaign.

He can truly add a new dimension to the offense and it’ll give Geno Smith some support in the backfield. Feels like a premium pick, but it sounds like the one to make if you’re Pete Carroll.

7. New York Jets: Armand Membou, OT – Missouri

Membou rose all the way up the mock drafts and Big Boards following his Scouting Combine performance. As of now, Justin Fields needs a little more protection.

If Aaron Glenn wants to bring the Detroit Lions edge to the Jets, you have to build through the trenches. Membou is a freak athlete and could be plugged in right away.

8. Carolina Panthers: Jalon Walker, EDGE/LB – Georgia

The Panthers would love to add an elite pass rusher in this draft. Yates puts Walker in Carolina in this mock draft. Now that the QB is fixed, welcome back Bryce Young, time to beef up the defense for this young and competitive team.

What’s interesting, Walker can play multiple linebacker positions. A solid selection in this mock draft, so it should be a solid selection in real life right?

9. New Orleans Saints: Shemar Stewart, EDGE – Texas A&M

The Saints opt for a pass rusher in the Top 10 as well. Yates is sticking to his guns in this mock draft as well.

Stewart isn’t as starter ready as some of the others already mentioned, as Yates pointed out. But the former Aggie’s upside is massive.

10. Chicago Bears: Will Campbell, OT/G – LSU

The Bears already beefed up their offensive line via trades and free agency. But this mock draft doesn’t have them stop fixing the position.

Widely considered the top offensive tackle before the combine, Campbell would be a steal at No. 10 at this point. The Bears need to protect Caleb Williams like yesterday.
