2025 NFL Draft: Multiple trades shake up first round, Shedeur Sanders falls
On3

The latest 2025 NFL Mock Draft is here and this time Pro Football Focus shook things up with trades. Not only that, Colorado QB Shedeur Sanders fell quite far in the first round.

Don’t worry, there are still multiple quarterbacks in the first round. That includes one taken after Sanders at the end of the first round, thanks to some trades to make things fun.

Without further ado, let’s dive into PFF’s latest mock draft. We’ll start with the obvious first selection.

1. Tennessee Titans: Cam Ward, QB – Miami

This has been the consensus as of late with the Titans going with Ward. The PFF mock draft is no different, a little more than two weeks out.

Ward is the top quarterback available and will be the new franchise icon for the Titans, who desperately need something going into 2025. Hit the reset button!

2. Chicago Bears (trade with Browns): Abdul Carter, EDGE – Penn State

Terms: Bears receive Pick No. 2; Browns receive Pick Nos. 10, 39 and 148 and a 2026 first-round pick.

Here we go! The Bears move all the way up to the No. 2 pick to get a true defensive difference maker. Carter could be a game wrecker in Chicago and the Bears could afford to do this considering the free agency upgrades on the offensive line.

3. New York Giants: Travis Hunter, WR/CB – Colorado

The Giants could very well go quarterback here, but they’re kind of in win-now mode. Give Russell Wilson or Jameis Winston a playmaker in Hunter.

He’ll also play defense, don’t worry! Mock drafts seem to like Hunter to the Giants and it’s just a matter of what his primary role will be in the pros.

4. New England Patriots: Will Campbell, OT – LSU

The Patriots were another popular mock draft destination for Hunter, but in this prediction, Campbell is the pick. You have to protect Drake Maye.

Arm length aside, Campbell might be the best offensive tackle in the draft. The LSU product was a stalwart in the SEC.

5. Jacksonville Jaguars: Mason Graham, DL – Michigan

Graham to the Jaguars in mock drafts is like peanut butter and jelly. Or peanut butter and chocolate. It just goes together.

He’s an elite run defender and developed a knack to rush the passer. We haven’t seen many predictions that have the Jaguars taking anyone else.

6. Las Vegas Raiders: Ashton Jeanty, RB – Boise State

Here comes some star power to Vegas. Weird right? Jeanty was the Heisman runner up and he steadily rose up mock drafts since the Scouting Combine.

He had a historic season and seems like the typical running back for a Pete Carroll team. Geno Smith is at the controls and he can rely on a young buck in the backfield.

7. New York Jets: Armand Membou, OT – Missouri

Membou got a lot of love in mock drafts after the Scouting Combine. PFF doesn’t have him above Campbell, but he’ll still go top 10.

Aaron Glenn wants to build through the trenches, so give him this athletic freak to protect Justin Fields. He has a ton of potential to be a franchise tackle.

8. Carolina Panthers: Tetairoa McMillan, WR – Arizona

McMillan has been a first round selection in mock drafts, but he soared up PFF’s board. The Panthers get a weapon for Bryce Young, giving him a receiver who can go up and get it and also stretch the field.

So in this one, he goes in the top 10 in a draft that might be a little light on wide receivers in the first round. But if they believe, they have to take McMillan.

9. New Orleans Saints: Jihaad Campbell, LB – Alabama

The Saints are going defense in this mock draft with Campbell. New Orleans needs a centerpiece to the defense after Demario Davis.

That’s the argument made by PFF. Campbell has the ability to play the middle and the edge, rushing the passer.

10. Cleveland Browns (trade with Bears): Mike Green, EDGE – Marshall

This is generally higher than where Green has been projected to go but this mock draft pulls no punches! This is after the trade down by the Browns.

You would think if they want an edge player, they would draft Carter. But they get capital in this mock raft and get Green to complement Myles Garrett on defense.
