Just ahead of the Super Bowl, two NFL stars requested trades from their team. Both Myles Garrett and Deebo Samuel could be on the move this offseason, potentially costing a pair of teams serious draft capital. Samuel has wanted to be on the move before but Garrett’s attempt to get out of Cleveland is brand new.
Not too long after, the Philadelphia Eagles won the Super Bowl and officially set the 2025 NFL Draft order. As a result, PFF’s Trevor Sikkema has produced his latest mock draft, covering the entire first round.
Sikkema projects trades for Garrett and Samuel, switching them across conferences. A few other in-draft trades are included as well. You can check out the full first-round mock below.
1. Tennessee Titans: Penn State EDGE Abdul Carter
Tennessee has said they will not be willing to pass up on a generational talent. Carter may not exactly fit that bill but has an opportunity to be one of the NFL’s top pass rushers in a few seasons. A great way to start a rebuild for the Titans.
PFF: “The Titans need a quarterback, but the draft shouldn’t be about forcing needs — even for a quarterback. Many teams will view Carter as the best football player in this draft.”
2. Cleveland Browns: Colorado CB/WR Travis Hunter

Cleveland is likely to go through a ton of transition this offseason. Acquiring talent is at the top of the priority list and arguably nobody in the draft class is more talented than the two-way playing Hunter.
PFF: “If any player will challenge Carter as the top prospect in this class, it’s the versatile Hunter, who I view as a full-time cornerback with the ability to play a handful of receiver snaps each week.”
3. New York Giants: Colorado QB Shedeur Sanders
Daniel Jones is officially out in New York, leaving a gaping need at quarterback. PFF believes Sanders will be the first QB off the board, pairing him with stud rookie wide receiver Malik Nabers.
PFF: “I am all about not passing on better football players to force immediate needs, but mock drafts are also done to predict rather than to copy big board rankings. It feels like the stars are aligning for Sanders to end up in New York, injecting some hope into the Giants’ building.”
4. New England Patriots: LSU OT Will Campbell
Step one of finding a franchise quarterback is seemingly completed. Now, New England will attempt to protect Drake Maye for the next decade-plus with this pick at No. 4. Debates will ensue until draft night as to who the top offensive tackle is and PFF goes with Campbell in this mock.
PFF: “New Patriots head coach Mike Vrabel knows how important it is to win in the trenches — and how New England’s offensive line last year was one of the worst at doing so. They owe it to quarterback Drake Maye to build a wall of protection in front of their franchise player.”
5. San Francisco 49ers (via JAX): Michigan DL Mason Graham

This trade would rock the entire NFL universe, sending Deebo Samuel to Jacksonville. This would allow San Francisco to pick inside the top five and select Graham, somebody who projects as an elite interior defensive lineman.
PFF: “This isn’t the first time (the 49ers) explored trading Samuel, so it seems more likely to go through this time. Here, they do a pick swap with Jacksonville (about a second-round trade value) to jump up and get one of the top defensive linemen in the draft.”
6. Las Vegas Raiders: Miami QB Cam Ward
Quarterbacks with first-round grades usually do not fall too far. PFF has Ward going at No. 6 to Las Vegas, a team that definitely needs a quarterback of the future. Ward spent some time out West with Washington State and in this mock, takes over for the Raiders.

PFF: “(The Raiders) should have at least one new quarterback on the roster before draft weekend to avoid forcing themselves into picking one here, but if Ward falls, I could still see them drafting him.”
7. New York Jets: Penn State TE Tyler Warren
Super Bowl Sunday provided the news of Aaron Rodgers likely not returning to the Jets. Quarterback will be a major question mark but with both Sanders and Ward off the board, PFF has them going best player available at No. 7.
PFF: “(New head coach Aaron) Glenn won’t be afraid to go against the grain for players he believes are the right fit for the long term, and Warren is the pick here.”
8. Carolina Panthers: Marshall EDGE Mike Green
![Mike Green](https://on3static.com/uploads/dev/assets/cms/2025/02/10154529/Mike-Green-1024x538.jpg)
Green made a name for himself at the Senior Bowl before withdrawing from the game. Teams are always seeking high-ceiling pass rushers who can terrorize offenses. Carolina would certainly feel like they are getting a huge boost to the defensive line with Green.
PFF: “The Panthers had one of the least productive defensive lines in the league for most of the 2024 season. They’ll get Derrick Brown back from injury, but they need more difference-makers in that area. Green was a monster as a pass-rusher and a run defender this past season, and it was just more of the same at the Senior Bowl.”
9. New Orleans Saints: Missouri OT Armand Membou
New Orleans is set to hire Kellen Moore after winning the Super Bowl with Philadelphia, potentially making an offensive pick predictable. Moore knows how valuable a great offensive line can be and adds somebody with potential with the ninth pick.
PFF: “I am intrigued by the idea of (the Saints) prioritizing the offensive line at the top of the draft, and adding a right tackle like Membou could allow them to try Trevor Penning at guard for the 2025 season before committing to him as a starter for the long term.”
10. Cleveland Browns (via CHI): Texas OT Kelvin Banks
Cleveland finds itself with a second top-10 pick here due to Chicago trading for Myles Garrett. Multiple first-round picks were secured in the mock trade, with the first being used on a potential franchise left tackle out of the Lone Star State.
PFF: “By drafting Hunter at No. 2 and Banks at No. 10, (the Browns) would secure two very talented players at impactful positions for their upcoming rebuild.”
