With Super Bowl LIX in the books, the 2025 NFL Draft order is set. That means mock draft season is in full swing – and NFL.com’s latest projections include a blockbuster Dallas Cowboys trade to shake up the first round.
In Dan Parr’s updated mock draft, he projects the Cowboys to trade the No. 12 overall pick and their 2026 first-rounder to the Cleveland Browns in a blockbuster move that sees Myles Garrett head to Dallas. It’s one of a handful of trades he has in his projections, although he also has Cleveland taking a player linked to the Cowboys since they learned where they’d be picking.
The next step in the pre-draft process is the NFL Scouting Combine, which gets underway Feb. 27. Here is NFL.com’s updated 2025 NFL mock draft.
1. Tennessee Titans – Cam Ward, QB, Miami
Considered one of the top quarterback prospects in this year’s draft, Cam Ward is coming off a standout season at Miami after transferring from Washington State. He led the nation in passing touchdowns, and he could be an option at No. 1 for the Tennessee Titans if they decide to go with a quarterback.
Ward topped FBS with 39 passing touchdowns while totaling 4,313 yards and just seven interceptions. The Titans currently have Will Levis at quarterback, but as Brian Callahan enters his second season as head coach, they could opt to hit the reset button at the position.
2. Cleveland Browns – Abdul Carter, EDGE, Penn State

The Cleveland Browns are in an interesting position at No. 2 overall in the 2025 NFL Draft. With plenty of needs, there are a few directions they could go, and NFL.com has them going with the top pass rusher on the board in former Penn State star Abdul Carter.
Carter led the nation with 23.5 tackles for loss while totaling 68 tackles and 12.0 sacks while helping Penn State to a national semifinal. His projection to Cleveland comes as the franchise is dealing with a trade request from its own star pass rusher after Myles Garrett’s announcement.
3. New York Giants – Travis Hunter, CB/WR, Colorado
Perhaps the most interesting prospect in the draft, Travis Hunter is widely considered the top athlete on the board. He shined on both sides of the ball this past season at Colorado as he won the Heisman Trophy, and he would supercharge the New York Giants no matter how they use him.
Hunter totaled 1,258 yards and a Big 12-leading 15 touchdowns on offense while adding 36 tackles and four interceptions on defense as a cornerback – cementing himself as a bona fide two-way star. He will head to the NFL Combine as a cornerback, although it’s still yet to be seen how exactly he’ll be used at the next level.
4. New England Patriots – Will Campbell, OL, LSU
Throughout the 2024 season, the New England Patriots saw a glaring need on the offensive line. That will surely be a direction they look in the draft, and NFL.com projects LSU stalwart Will Campbell to be the No. 4 overall pick.
Campbell anchored the LSU offensive line this past season while becoming a consensus All-American. Drake Maye was sacked 34 times in 13 appearances as a rookie, and Campbell would be a strong start to fixing that unit.
5. Jacksonville Jaguars – Mason Graham, DL, Michigan

With Liam Coen now in as head coach, the Jacksonville Jaguars will look to build up the trenches on both sides of the ball. NFL.com projects them to take Michigan standout defensive lineman Mason Graham, who was the anchor of a unit that won the national championship in 2023.
Graham earned All-American honors amid a career year in Ann Arbor in 2024. He totaled 45 tackles, seven tackles for loss and 3.5 sacks – setting career-highs in all three categories while also cementing himself as a top draft prospect.
6. Las Vegas Raiders – Shedeur Sanders, QB, Colorado
Now that the Las Vegas Raiders have Pete Carroll in as head coach, the biggest question is who the quarterback will be. If he’s available at No. 6, Shedeur Sanders could be the option after a huge senior season at Colorado.

Sanders was the most accurate quarterback in the country this past season, completing 74% of his passes for 4,134 yards and 37 touchdowns. Las Vegas has a few directions it could go at quarterback as it navigates a loaded AFC West.
7. New York Jets – Jalon Walker, EDGE, Georgia
The New York Jets are in a period of transition with a coaching change and Aaron Rodgers now out as quarterback. They have plenty of needs, though, and NFL.com has them taking Jalon Walker out of Georgia to bolster the pass rush.
Walker was a crucial piece of Georgia’s vaunted defense this past season, tying for the team lead with 6.5 sacks to go with a team-high 11 tackles for loss. He would join a Jets defense led by defensive coordinator Steve Wilks and a former DC in new head coach Aaron Glenn.
8. Carolina Panthers – Mykel Williams, EDGE, Georgia

Another Georgia star, Mykel Williams was also a key piece in Athens this past season. He continues to generate first-round buzz, and NFL.com projects him to go to the Carolina Panthers at No. 8 overall.
Williams appeared in 12 games this past season, totaling 21 tackles, nine tackles for loss and 5.0 sacks. It was the biggest year of his three-year run with the Bulldogs, and he’s sure to find success as a pass rusher at the next level, as well.
9. New Orleans Saints – Tetairoa McMillan, WR, Arizona
After a monster 2023 season at Arizona, expectations were sky-high for Tetairoa McMillan in 2024. He lived up to the billing as a Biletnikoff Award finalist and one of the top wide receivers in the country, and NFL.com has him going to the New Orleans Saints under new head coach Kellen Moore.
McMillan ranked third in the nation with 1,319 receiving yards this year to go with eight touchdowns – one year after surpassing 1,400 yards as a sophomore. The Saints face plenty of questions this offseason with their salary cap situation, but McMillan would be a strong addition to Moore’s offense.
10. Chicago Bears – Armand Membou, OL, Missouri
Caleb Williams had a historic year in the worst way as he took 68 sacks as a rookie with the Chicago Bears. As a result, NFL.com has them taking one of the top offensive linemen on the board in former Missouri standout Armand Membou.
Membou was a second team All-SEC selection this past season as he anchored the Missouri offensive line and was named to the Outland Trophy Watch List. He would be a welcome addition in Chicago to protect Williams, who will now learn under new head coach Ben Johnson.
