2025 NFL Draft: PFF releases Way Too Early mock draft, predictions for all 32 first-round picks
As if one draft weren’t enough, Pro Football Focus released its way-too-early 2025 mock NFL draft, taking a look at the next crop of pro prospects.
Some of these players could’ve been high draft picks this past spring, but alas, have to wait. But it’s also a good exercise to pinpoint the best players in college football next year.
Let’s dive into Pro Football Focus’ way-too-early NFL mock draft for 2025.
1. Carolina Panthers: James Pearce Jr., EDGE – Tennessee
Pearce is the first player off the board in this way too early look to next year. He was a menace on the defensive line last season.
Pearce logged 28 total tackles, 14.5 tackles for loss and 10 sacks in 2023. That was after a year of development as a freshman and PFF expects him to make huge leaps in Year 3.
2. New England Patriots: Will Campbell, OT – LSU
Campbell is one of the best offensive linemen in college football. He might just be No. 1 this coming season.
The New England Patriots just selected Drake Maye this past draft and are starting to rebuild the offense. You might as well get a franchise tackle to protect said franchise quarterback.
3. Denver Broncos: Mason Graham, DT – Michigan
In two years at Michigan, Graham’s been a force on the defensive line. He logged 7.5 tackles for loss and three sacks last year helping the Wolverines win it all.
He’s projected to go quite high in next year’s draft. He’ll arguably be the best player on Michigan’s defense along with the next selection in this mock.
4. Tennessee Titans: Will Johnson, CB – Michigan
The top corner in the draft will go in the top five of the draft next season. Michigan’s defense produced a lot in 2024 and will do the same next spring.
In his second season, Johnson logged 27 total tackles and four interceptions, to go along with a touchdown. He has seven picks in two years.
5. New York Giants: Carson Beck, QB – Georgia
There’s our first quarterback of the draft and it’s quite hard to tell how this class will pan out. The 2024 class had a lot of buzz, but Beck headlines this one, and he goes to the Giants who look for a restart.
Once he stepped in as the starter, he was solid. If he wins a national title this coming season, he’ll certainly boost his stock. He threw for nearly 4,000 yards last season with 24 touchdowns. He can get better.
6. Washington Commanders: Kelvin Banks, OT – Texas
Banks has 27 starts under his belt and was on the All-Big 12 First Team in 2023. He was also a Joe Moore Award semifinalist last season.
Safe to say, Banks is quite the talent at offensive tackle. He’ll compete with Campbell for the top billing, but expect him to be in top 10 territory.

7. Arizona Cardinals: Deone Walker, DL – Kentucky
Walker broke out last season as a second year player with the Wildcats. He had 7.5 sacks and 12.5 tackles for loss.
He bolstered his stats from his freshman year and had 55 total tackles last fall. What’s next in Year 3? A dominant presence in the middle of that defensive line.
8. Minnesota Vikings: Benjamin Morrison, CB – Notre Dame
The Vikings improved their defense last season and you might as well get a shutdown corner next year as well. Morrison is one of the best defensive backs in college football.
Morrison has nine interceptions in two seasons, including grabbing six as a freshman. To go along with 14 pass deflections, Morrison is quite the ballhawk.
9. Las Vegas Raiders: Shedeur Sanders, QB – Colorado
Sanders is arguably the biggest name in next year’s NFL Draft and the most polarizing right now, due to father Deion. Shedeur lit it up last season despite being battered.
He can make the argument that he’s the best quarterback in this class. But a second year in Boulder will determine everything.
10. Seattle Seahawks: Nic Scourton, EDGE – Texas A&M
In his second year at Purdue, Scourton logged 10 sacks, breaking out in the process. He transferred to Texas A&M this offseason.
Can he improve his stock? He might by playing in the SEC for a competitive Aggies’ team. He’s a borderline top 10 pick already.
