2025 Pro Football Hall of Fame finalists revealed

The Pro Football Hall of Fame has announced five individuals have reached the finalist stage of its Class of 2025. The five people who are one step closer to being enshrined in Canton, Ohio are Ralph Hay (Contributor), Mike Holmgren (Coach), and Maxie Baughan, Sterling Sharpe and Jim Tyrer (Seniors).
Three of the five finalists who get 80 percent or more votes will be inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame. One notable name that is not on the list is New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft who helped the team win six Super Bowls.
Ralph Hay is credited as being a co-founder of the NFL. He was the owner of the Canton Bulldogs from 1918 to 1922 and organized a meeting with the pro football owners in Canton in 1920 to help launch the association.
Mike Holmgren was the head coach of the Green Bay Packers from 1992 to 1998 and the Seattle Seahawks from 1999 to 2008. In his career, Holmgren posted a 174-122 record and won a Super Bowl as the Packers head coach during the 1996 season.
