49ers TE George Kittle opens up about 'F*** Dallas' shirt he wore during SNF
San Francisco 49ers star George Kittle doesn’t have much love for the Dallas Cowboys. The tight end proved as much by wearing a unique undershirt during Sunday night’s NFL game.
During the game, Kittle sported a “F*** Dallas” shirt under his jersey. It might’ve been an embarrassing situation had the Cowboys won, but the 49ers cruised to a 42-10 victory at home. So, obviously, the tight end does not regret wearing the shirt.
On Monday, Kittle joined the Pat McAfee Show to talk about the shirt and how he made the decision to wear it.
“That (shirt) was just on my loop, man. I put it on, was just wearing a T-shirt at the game, I don’t know how (f–k Dallas) got on there,” Kittle said jokingly. “I might’ve been mildly inspired by our guy [former linebacker] Gary Plummer, who wore that in the ’94 NFC Championship Game versus Dallas.
“There’s some things that need to be worn for the franchise and I think it’s just coincidence it just happened to appear on my chest on ‘Sunday Night Football.’”
Kittle only had three receptions in the game but all three were touchdown catches, not a bad night for the tight end. He ended the night with 67 yards, as well.

San Francisco improved to 5-0 with the win while Dallas dropped to 3-2. Next week, the 49ers travel to Cleveland to play the Browns. We can’t wait to see if Kittle has a special shirt in store for that one, too.
Mike McCarthy ‘humbled’ by Cowboys loss to 49ers
After a 3-1 start to the season, many expected Dallas to put up a better fight against San Francisco. That didn’t happen.
After the game, McCarthy called the blowout loss “humbling.”
“A very humbling loss, clearly, and that’s stating the obvious,” McCarthy said post-game. “I think the biggest thing is that I just had a reflection on the five games we’ve played, and it’s been a wide range of performance — as wide of a range as I can recall in a five-week period. The biggest thing is for us to be accountable.”
“It’s clearly humbling,” McCarthy added. “But it is one game —I expressed that coming into that. They were playing very well coming into [this game], and I thought our defense was in for a big challenge. Frankly, it starts with me. I didn’t do a good enough job tonight. … It clearly just shows where we are at 3-2. It’s [lack of] consistency. Even when we’re playing really well, look at those three games that we’ve won by a big margin, it’s pre-snap penalties that showed up again tonight.”
