San Francisco 49ers superstar wide receiver Deebo Samuel hasn’t been afraid to spend money on flashy jewelry for himself over the years. Recently, the electrifying wideout decided to spend big on his own family members. First, he gifted his mother a car for Mother’s Day. Then, he decided to give his brother a car after he graduated high school.

Check out the reactions from his mother and brother below.

Samuel has already tormented opposing defenses to the tune of over 3,200 receiving yards and 12 receiving touchdowns thus far in his four years in the league. As a runner, he has shredded defenses for 782 rushing yards and 14 touchdowns on 123 carries. His best season without a doubt, came during the 2021 season, when he racked up 1,770 all-purpose yards and 15 total touchdowns, including one passing touchdown.

In the 2022-2023 season, Samuel hauled in 56 catches for 632 receiving yards, while bringing in two touchdowns. As a runner, he had 42 carries for 232 rushing yards and three touchdowns. His best game last year came against the LA Rams, when he hauled in seven catches for 115 receiving yards and one touchdown.

The 49ers were blown out by the Philadelphia Eagles in the 2023 NFC Championship Game, 31-7. San Francisco didn’t have much of a chance, once starting quarterback Brock Purdy exited the game with an early injury.

Deebo Samuel was one of the most explosive playmakers in college football during his time with South Carolina

He finished his highly decorated career there with 3,457 total all-purpose yards. In the 2018 season, he earned first-team All-American honors as an all-purpose threat, after he racked up 882 receiving yards and 570 kick return yards. Samuel finished with 1,478 all-purpose yards that season, just ahead of the mark that he had in the 2016-2017 season, when he put up 1,320 all-purpose yards.

For his career, he hauled in 148 catches for 2,076 receiving yards and 16 touchdowns. His 2,076 receiving yards currently rank him No. 11 all-time in South Carolina football history. Once he hung up his cleats there, there’s no question he left his mark there as one of the most dynamic receivers in Gamecock history.

Coming out of Chapman High School (Inman, South Carolina), Samuel was rated as a three-star prospect and the No. 80 wide receiver prospect in the nation, according to the On3 Industry Rankings for the 2014 cycle.
