Aaron Rodgers and Robert Saleh went viral for a handshake, hug and intense moment on the sideline. At first glance, it looked like Rodgers brushed off his head coach following a touchdown drive.

Saleh went in for a clap up and hug with Rodgers putting his hands on his coach’s chest, seemingly pushing him away. He also had some words for Saleh.

But on Tuesday’s Pat McAfee Show, Rodgers addressed the moment caught on video and said everything is all good between him and Saleh.

“So I’m really thankful for the environment coach Saleh has brought,” Rodgers said. “I think it’s comedy also, that little clip there. You know, it’s definitely cut without the beginning of that or the end of that part. Of course, they wouldn’t do that on purpose, but …”

“Journalistic standards, journalistic standards, they would never do that. Never do that, obviously,” McAfee interrupted.

“Just accept the hug,” AJ Hawk added.

“You know he’s not a big hugger, but I know now,” Rodgers said. “This is a good learning experience for both of us. But, yeah, I love Robert. We were laughing about it after the game.”

“We got a good thing going,” Rodgers said. “There’s a lot of belief right now, and it’s fun. It’s fun. When you can come to work and it’s a fun environment, and there’s jokes and pranks and then, you know, we know when to be serious and turn it on, and guys all believe in each other. We get on the same page. You know, that’s when it starts to come together, and that’s when it starts to get fun.”

So far this season, Rodgers has 624 yards, five touchdowns, one interception and a 67.4% completion percentage in three games. It’s a solid start after missing all of last season with an Achilles injury that was much documented.

As it stands, the Jets only trail the Buffalo Bills (3-0) in the AFC East. Next up, New York and Rodgers host the Denver Broncos on Sunday at 1:00 p.m. ET.
