2024 ACC Men’s Basketball Tournament Odds: Betting lines released to win it all
The 2024 ACC Men’s Basketball Tournament gets underway on Tuesday with three first-round matchups. The tournament runs from Tuesday through Saturday, with the championship game being played Saturday night at 8:30 p.m. on ESPN.
North Carolina won the ACC regular season title outright, knocking off Duke for the second time this season on Saturday to capture the crown. The Tar Heels are one of two favorites to win the tournament title, along with Duke. However, UNC isn’t the overwhelming favorite you might expect them to be after winning the league by two games.
Here are the current odds from FanDuel on who will win the 2024 ACC Men’s Basketball Tournament:
North Carolina Tar Heels +180
After missing out on the 2023 NCAA Tournament, North Carolina has had an impressive bounce back year. The Tar Heels enter the postseason with a 25-6 (17-3) record and have won six straight games.
UNC is currently viewed as a No. 2 seed by On3 Bracketologist James Fletcher III. If Tennessee and Arizona fail to make a run in their conference tournaments and North Carolina wins the ACC tourney, perhaps the Tar Heels can get in the 1 seed discussion.
Duke Blue Devils +180
Duke missed out on an opportunity to clinch a share of the ACC regular season title on Saturday, falling at home to North Carolina. The Blue Devils would love to gain some momentum with a run in the ACC Tournament this week.
You can make the argument that Duke is as motivated as anyone to win the ACC tourney title after the way it closed out the regular season. The Blue Devils are currently a No. 3 seed, according to Fletcher.
Wake Forest Demon Deacons +750
Wake Forest is currently on the outside looking in as a bubble team, according to most, but the Demon Deacons still have the third-best odds to win the ACC tournament. That’s not a huge surprise, because Wake Forest has proven it can be dangerous.
Wake has some tough losses but also has wins over Florida, Virginia and Duke. If the Demon Deacons get hot, watch out.
Clemson Tigers +950
After just missing out on the NCAA Tournament last season, the Tigers have solidified their spot in the Big Dance in 2024. Clemson enters the postseason with a 21-10 (11-9) record and with wins over South Carolina, Alabama and North Carolina.
The Tigers have the No. 6 seed in the ACC Tournament but a somewhat favorable draw. Brad Brownell would love for his club to go on a run and potentially improve its NCAA Tournament seed. The Tigers are currently projected as a No. 5 seed.

Pittsburgh Panthers +1600
Like Wake Forest, Pitt is on the bubble heading into the ACC Tournament. The Panthers are the No. 4 seed as they head to Washington, D.C.
Pitt receives a double bye in the ACC Tournament, before a potential matchup with Wake Forest. The winner of that game could help its NCAA Tournament chances tremendously. Pitt has won three straight games and 11 of 14 entering the ACC tourney.
Virginia Cavaliers +1600
Virginia is another ACC team that is right on the bubble and can improve its chances of making the Big Dance with a strong showing in the ACC Tournament. The Cavaliers are currently one of the first four out, according to Fletcher.
Virginia has a complicated resume with wins over Florida, Clemson and Wake Forest but also some ugly losses. If Virginia can find any offense, the Cavaliers could be dangerous.
Odds for remaining ACC teams

Florida State +7000
Miami +9000
Notre Dame +19000
Boston College +19000

Louisville +250000
There are a couple of clear favorites to win the ACC Tournament in North Carolina and Duke, but if they get bounced, it could be anyone’s tourney. It will be interesting to see if bubble teams are able to help their stock by going on a run.
