Adam Sandler reportedly working with Dana White on UFC comedy series
Adam Sandler isn’t a stranger to unexpected roles. With career-altering performances in films like “Uncut Gems” and “Punch-Drunk Love,” Sandler is known for taking risks. After a recent episode of “The Pat McAfee Show”, it looks like the 56-year-old actor is back at it again.
On Wednesday, Pat McAfee hosted UFC President Dana White on his show. The constantly entertaining figurehead had big news.
“We’re also working on a show right now with Adam Sandler that’s a comedy about working in the offices of the UFC,” White said with a smile on his face.
While White didn’t offer any further specifics, the small reveal was enough to send fans into a frenzy. The excitement from the sports world makes sense.
With films like “Happy Gilmore,” “The Longest Yard” and “The Waterboy” under his belt, Sandler has provided entertainment for sports junkies time and time again. The “Grown Ups” star even laces up his own sneakers occasionally.

“I like playing basketball,” Sandler said in an interview on Jimmy Kimmel Live in 2022. “If I’m shooting in a particular state or city, I’ll ask around where are some good games, and then I go and show up.”
Sandler does more than show up, he shows out. After a clip surfaced of Sandler playing with NBA co-stars for his 2022 film “Hustle,” Shaquille O’Neal gave Sandler props.
“He’s legit,” O’Neal said on an episode of the “Green Light with Chris Long” podcast. “Not pro legit, but he’s definitely LA Fitness, 24-Hour Fitness legit.”
Not bad praise from an NBA legend. This time around, Sandler won’t be dealing with sneakers and hardwood, but instead head kicks and canvas. Who knows? Maybe we’ll see Adam Sandler enter the octagon next.
