WATCH: Adam Schefter bares his chest mimicking viral Kirk Cousins video
ESPN’s Adam Schefter shared a new side of himself, nearly literally, on ESPN’s Monday Night Countdown as he mimicked Kirk Cousins. The Minnesota Vikings quarterback made the rounds on social media after a viral video of him celebrating the team being 7-1 this year. Cousins was on the team’s plane after the win, shirtless and covered in gold chains with his teammates cheering him on as he danced.
On Monday, Schefter gave us all a firsthand look at his own upper body as he showed up shirtless on the field of the Superdome.
ESPN’s social media team quickly shared a look at both dances side-by-side — showing just how good or bad of an imitation Schefter put together.

Adam Schefter copies Kirk Cousins
Despite the strangeness of the moment, Schefter and his Monday Night Countdown crew certainly have embraced the fun side of the sport. Schefter’s own viral moment came at the end of the very popular “C’mon Man” segment of the pregame show where the panelists highlight strange and funny moments from around football and sports in general from the week.
Robert Griffin III took an extra jab at Schefter as he unveiled the bit, saying that Kirk Cousins made the ESPN analyst look like rapper Riff-Raff.
