Adam Schefter considers possible landing spots for Myles Garrett after trade request from Browns

Adam Schefter considered potential landing spots for Myles Garrett after his trade request from the Cleveland Browns.
The short answer, there’s really no front runner for his services at this point. Cleveland made a point to say they would not trade their star pass rusher.
But with the way Schefter broke it down on The Pat McAfee Show, it could come down to who Garrett believes can win a Super Bowl in his mind.
“In his ideal world, that’s what he’s doing,” Schefter said of Garrett’s desire to go to a Super Bowl contender. “Okay? Now again, what if they said, we’re trading you, I’m making this up to Chicago. Is Chicago a Super Bowl contender right now? But what if Chicago, he feels like is a I think, I think the best way of saying it, he wants to go to what he believes is a Super Bowl contender.
“But I think, as we talked about this, I think that would be a place that he believes gives him more hope to win a Super Bowl Championship than the Browns do. And there are probably multiple NFL franchises that would fall into that category. Because I think if you had to consider it, 31 teams, probably, would be interested in trading for Myles Garrett.”
Schefter did note Garrett would not go to the Ravens, Steelers or Bengals, considering the Browns’ desire to ship Garrett away from the AFC, if they trade him.

“A few things to keep in mind, I don’t think there’s any way or chance in hell that the Browns ever would consider trading him in a division so you could knock out those teams,” Schefter said. “And by the way, they say they aren’t trading them at all. They’re certainly not trading him in the division. I would think that if they’re trading them, they certainly wouldn’t want to trade him in-conference.
“Myles Garrett would have the ability, because any team would have to give up a haul, and any team that trades for him, obviously we’d want to have him under contract. So he would have some say there, because let’s just say it was normal, and let’s say he doesn’t like the area, he doesn’t believe in the team, he doesn’t like whatever it is. He could say, ‘I’m not going there.”
This season, Garrett had 47 tackles, 22 tackles for loss, 14 sacks, one pass deflection, three forced fumbles and one fumble recovery.
Over the course of his career, Garrett has 352 total tackles, 116 tackles for loss, 102.5 sacks, 17 pass deflections, 20 forced fumbles, six fumble recoveries and one defensive touchdown.
