Griffin averaged 10.4 points per game last season to help lead Duke to the Final Four in Mike Krzyzewski’s final season before retirement. He also shot 44% from three-point territory, which is a stat that could help keep his draft stock high. He’s one of five former Blue Devils stars to declare for the draft, joining Paolo Banchero, Mark Williams, Trevor Keels and Wendell Moore Jr.
Out of high school, Griffin was a four-star recruit and the No. 23 player in the nation from the class of 2021, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. The 2022 NBA Draft is coming up June 23 from the Barclays Center in New York. Earlier this month, the NBA Draft Lottery took place, and the Orlando Magic hold the No. 1 overall selection.
