Any “Swifties” tuning in for Taylor Swift’s appearance at Thursday night’s Broncos-Chiefs game at Arrowhead Stadium on Thursday Night Football might find some disappointment. Amazon Prime play-by-play man Al Michaels says the broadcast won’t spend much time focused on the pop star.

Earlier this week, TMZ Sports reported that Swift would attend the Thursday night game in Kansas City. It is the third game she’s attended after beginning a rumored relationship with star tight end Travis Kelce.

Because of Swift’s popularity, many broadcasts have placed heavy emphasis on her coverage. But Michaels says that won’t be the case.

“What we’re gonna do tonight, everything in moderation,” Michaels said, per Sports Illustrated. “The vast majority of the audience are tuning in to watch a football game. There are people, I don’t know how many, it could be a sizable number, but it’s certainly not a majority, that if you trained the camera on her all night long, they’d be satisfied with that.”

“This is not what we’re going to do.”

Breathe a deep sigh of relief, football fans. While we’re sure there will be some coverage of her appearance at the game, it won’t be overwhelming. And if it is, we’ll just label Michaels as a liar.

The Broncos enter Thursday’s game with a 1-4 record while the Chiefs sit at 4-1, rattling off four-straight victories after losing the season opener to the Lions.

Kelce (for those who care), has 27 catches for 222 yards and three touchdowns so far this season.

NFL depends major coverage of Taylor Swift

Are you getting tired of the NFL‘s constant coverage of Swift? Too bad! the league doesn’t really care. It released a statement regarding its coverage of one of the most popular music stars.

“We frequently change our bios and profile imagery based on what’s happening in and around our games, as well as culturally,” the NFL told PEOPLE. “The Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce news has been a pop cultural moment we’ve leaned into in real time, as it’s an intersection of sport and entertainment, and we’ve seen an incredible amount of positivity around the sport.

“The vast majority of our content has remained focused on the game, our players and variety of other initiatives, including our Toy Story Funday Football alt-cast, the international games and more.”

Fortunately, fans shouldn’t have to deal with the same level of insane coverage on Thursday night.
