The experience levels for Saturday’s Final Four game between Alabama and UConn could not be more different. Dan Hurley‘s squad is fresh off a national championship in 2023 and has shown no signs of slowing down. Alabama, on the other hand, has never been one of the final four teams standing in the NCAA Tournament.

UConn will be coming out of the East region, taking down Illinois in the Elite Eight in historical fashion with a 30-0 run in the second half. Alabama will represent the West after beating and ending the great tournament run Clemson had been on under head coach Brad Brownell.

Hurley and head coach Nate Oats do have a previous relationship with one another dating back to Oats’ time coaching high school. However, for at least 40 minutes, they will not be friends as a spot in the national championship is on the line.

Odds for Alabama vs. UConn

According to Draft Kings, UConn has opened as an 11.5-point favorite over Alabama. While it’s a big line for a Final Four game, the Huskies have been winning games by nearly an average of 30 points. The oddsmakers believe a big task is ahead of the Crimson Tide.

To get UConn on the money line, your odds are set at -600, while Alabama is +440. If you’re looking for the game’s total, it’s currently set at 161. Two of the best offenses in college basketball dueling with one another has oddsmakers believing a high-scoring game is coming in the desert.
