It won’t be hard to see Alex Bowman on the track at Daytona this Saturday night in his new Ally Arena Fortnite scheme. While this is a “Fortnite” scheme it is not sponsored or affiliated with Epic Games, Inc, it is a fun NASCAR look for sure. This is to promote a new arena level where players can join and participate in the game.

Still, this paint scheme is bright, purple, and really fun. While this hasn’t been the most memorable season for Alex Bowman, his schemes have been solid all year. Under the lights at Daytona, this car is going to look awesome.

Heading into Daytona, Alex Bowman needs a big performance. In fact, if he wants to make the NASCAR Playoffs, he has to have a walk-off win. The only problem is that his teammate Chase Elliott has to do the same thing in order to make the postseason.

This weekend at Watkins Glen wasn’t the best. It was a chance for Bowman to try and get into the mix and compete for a win. However, it never happened. Teammate William Byron went on to win the race in convincing fashion, not giving up the lead once he found it.

Alex Bowman in desperation mode

This is as desperate as you can get in NASCAR. Below the playoff cutline, only a win will get you in. So, that is what Alex Bowman will be prepared to do. When it comes to qualifying at Daytona, Bowman has been on the front row of the 500 for six straight years.

When it comes to the summer race, Bowman isn’t as good. He does have a number of top-10 finishes in the summer edition of the race. Needing a win, that just won’t be enough to get the job done. Bowman has never won at a superspeedway in the Cup Series.

In his career, Bowman has seven wins total. One thing that plays into his favor is how consistent he can be when he gets into a rhythm. However, ever since fracturing his back, the driver hasn’t been nearly as consistent.

Before his injury, Bowman had three top-5s and three additional top-10s. Since his return, he has just a single top-5 finish. He will have to have a season-best performance to make it happen on Saturday night.
