American Airlines adds flights to New Orleans for Super Bowl LIX with Eagles, Chiefs-themed flight numbers
American Airlines is already ready for the Super Bowl LIX matchup between the Philadelphia Eagles and Kansas City Chiefs.
The airline announced Monday it has added nonstop Super Bowl flights, but these flights have a deeper connection to the two teams playing for the Lombardi Trophy. According to Andy Slater of Fox Sports 640 South Florida, the Kansas City flight numbers are 3333 (Chiefs going for a three-peat), 593 (Super Bowl 59 and three straight for Kansas City) and 155 (Patrick Mahomes and his fifth Super Bowl appearance).
Not to be left out of the fun, the Philadelphia flight numbers are 126 (Jalen Hurts and Saquon Barkley) and 111 (Hurts and AJ Brown).
Fanbases from both teams will surely be in route to New Orleans ahead of this year’s Super Bowl on Sunday, Feb. 9., but it won’t come cheap. According to a report from the ESPN’s Field Yates, the cheapest seat on TickPick is currently $6,201. It will be in serious demand, with two of the hottest teams in football set to square off.
For both, this is familiar territory. The Chiefs are back for their fifth Super Bowl appearance since 2019 and are looking to do something no other NFL team has done before — win three consecutive Lombardi trophies.

In their way are the Eagles, who will have now made three Super Bowl trips dating back to 2017. Their last came against these Chiefs just two years ago, Kansas City coming out on top, 38-35. Philadelphia has been waiting to get back and now, it’s just two weeks away.
Eagles, Chiefs set for Super Bowl rematch
The Eagles clinched their spot with a dominant 55-23 victory over the Washington Commanders in Sunday’s NFC Championship Game. The Chiefs, meanwhile, got it done with a 32-29 win against the Buffalo Bills. All of the usual stars were at their finest this weekend in the two conference championship games. And both teams were powered by elite quarterback play.
Mahomes finished the game 18-of-26 passing for 245 yards and a touchdown. He did not throw an interception, though he did fumble once. Hurts rushed 10 times for 16 yards and the three scores. He also went 20-of-28 passing for 246 yards and a touchdown, without throwing an interception.
After the game, his coach, Nick Sirianni, called out the haters.
“How about our quarterback?” Sirianni said. “How about our quarterback?!? He’s a stud. I knew he was going to play that way. I knew it. Don’t doubt him. All he does is win.”
Hurts will get a chance to prove that true yet again, going against the game’s best in Mahomes.
