American Airlines creates Taylor Swift, Travis Kelce-themed flight numbers from Kansas City to Las Vegas for Super Bowl LVIII
One U.S. airline is doing the most for Kansas City football fans following the team’s win over the Baltimore Ravens. American Airlines posted Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce-themed flights from Kansas City to Las Vegas for Super Bowl LVIII after the Chiefs’ win on Sunday. The flights, with flight numbers 1989 and 87, correspond to Swift’s latest alum title and Kelce’s jersey number.
Chiefs fans can fly from Kansas City to Las Vegas on the 1989 flight and arrive for the big game by 1:35 p.m. on Saturday, which is the day before Super Bowl LVIII. After witnessing the battle between the Chiefs and the 49ers, fans can then take the 87 red-eye flight back to Kansas City from 12:20 a.m. to 5:00 a.m. on Monday morning.
Although Swift has a show in Tokyo before the Super Bowl, NFL insider Ian Rapoport shared on Sunday how the celeb will actually still be able to make it in time to be in attendance. Her show in Tokyo is on Feb. 10, the night before the Super Bowl. However, by wrapping up her show and immediately hopping on a private flight to Vegas, she can make it to Allegiant Stadium by 7 p.m. local time on Saturday. Kickoff for Super Bowl LVIII is at 3:30 p.m. PT on Sunday.
Kelce, Swift embrace after victory over Ravens
The internet went absolutely wild for the public displays of affection between Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce after the Chiefs’ 17-10 victory on Sunday at M&T Bank. Down on the field and in front of plenty of cameras, America’s most talked about couple embraced and kissed in celebration of yet another berth to the Super Bowl.

Eagles center Jason Kelce also had a lot to give his brother, hugging his younger sibling on the field amidst the celebration.
“Finish it, finish it,” said Jason Kelce. “Finish this mother******, finish this mother******.”
“Come on, baby! How ’bout it?” Travis Kelce said back. “F*** yeah, dog. God damn – I love you so much, man.”
Kelce came up big for the Chiefs offense once again on Sunday. He led Kansas City by catching all 11 of his targets for 116 yards and a touchdown. His score gave his team the lead that they held on to all game long. One of his receptions was also a historic one as he broke the record for career playoff receptions, which was previously held by NFL legend Jerry Rice.
