A very interesting paint scheme on the track tonight. Anthony Alfredo and his longtime partner Dude Wipes got creative. The folks at Dude Wipes have a new, scented wipe. The DUMPkin Spice car is coming to the NASCAR Xfinity Series tonight at Bristol.

The company has a serious name but doesn’t take itself too seriously. Anthony Alfredo is more or less the same. He is a seriously talented driver who doesn’t take himself too seriously, has fun racing, and it shows.

This paint scheme is going to catch some eyes tonight. Is this too far in the Pumpkin Spice craze? Or just the next great thing?

Here’s a great picture from Davey Segal of SiriusXM NASCAR Radio.

The thing is, that goofy paint scheme is on one fast Chevy Camaro. Anthony Alfredo has overperformed his equipment this season just as he has done for most of his career. He qualified P3, only Chandler Smith of JGR and defending Xfinity champion Cole Custer bested him.

It is impressive what he has done for Our Motorsports this season. He enters Bristol 15th in the points. But he has a real chance to win his way into the Xfinity Series Playoffs.

The race tonight is on The CW. NBC is producing the broadcast, but the rest of the Xfinity season will be on The CW, and it will continue full-time on that channel for all of 2025. You can access it with a digital antenna and if you pay for TV, likely have the channel.

Anthony Alfredo hoping to shock the world

When Anthony Alfredo was a teenager, he was a highly touted prospect. For good reason, he proved himself in Late Model Stock cars and other grassroots racing. He won in the K&N East Series. He had a pair of wins in the CARS Tour in 2017, finishing runner-up on the year.

It took Alfredo a while to get comfortable in NASCAR. His 2021 Cup Series season at Front Row was likely too much too soon. He took a step back after that year. In 2022, he raced for Our in the 23 car. He would finish 15th overall. Last season with BJ McLeod Motorsports, Alfredo was 20th overall in points.

Back with Our Motorsports, Alfredo has shown that he has a knack for improving his equipment. Last season this team was nowhere near this good. With Alfredo, they were at one point knocking on the door of the playoffs.

This is Anthony Alfredo’s last chance. If he can’t get a win tonight, he won’t go playoff racing. But that doesn’t mean his season will be for nothing. He has outperformed expectations.
